Laycon being the pantomime villain in the kidd/Erica/laycon love triangle while in big brother house might feel trepidated by that call thinking it was meant to ridicule his foolery in front of an international audience so the coward chose to ignore the call.

It's just my theory, but who knows...

Okay, let's be objective about it. What if pikinwaya has been trying to speak with Laycon but the bitter witch of a cum mate won't let him, and he saw the opportunity to speak with him on live TV where he wouldn't be restricted by the bitter mgbeke but laycon ignored him as always.
