Governor Umahi Lifts Curfew In Ebonyi State ~ Encourages the youths to take advantage of the 3bn grant by applying immediately Governor of Ebonyi State Engr. David Umahi has announced the lifting of the curfew initially imposed on the state because of the COVID-19 pandemic that ravaged the nation some months ago. In a statement made available to IGBERE TV by the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Francis Nwaze said the lifting of the ban is with effect from today Sunday 29th November 2020. He announced this while addressing the congregation at Christ Embassy Church, Mile 50, Abakaliki. According to him, the war against Covid 19 was won in the State due to prayers by Ebonyians, "From tonight, no more curfew in Ebonyi State." Governor Umahi equally *called* on all Ebonyians to go about their legitimate businesses while peacefully conducting themselves. He again, announced the setting aside of 3 billion naira for the empowerment of youths and women with effect from January 2020. According to him, about 3000 youths and women are expected to benefit from the empowerment in each Local Government Area of the State. " As a government, we have set aside the sum of 3 billion naira starting from January to encourage our youths and women to do things with their hands and three thousand youths will benefit from this ie. about two hundred plus per council area. " It is about a million per person and we are going to be convinced about the seriousness of anybody that it will be given to. "The website is www.ebonyistate.gov.ng and it is domiciled in the office of the Special Assistant to the Governor on SME. You are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity and apply. The selection template will be the same for everybody. "If there is no alternative to politics and appointment, this country cannot wake up. "Before people vote for you to bring roads, water, light and ease of doing business but now they vote for you because they want you to appoint them. How can you appoint everyone that voted you?" "But I believe that amid these difficulties, according to the Bible, we will overcome." Source : https://igberetvnews.com/1373452/governor-umahi-lifts-curfew-ebonyi-state/ Cc, Lalasticlala, Mynd44

This is what governance is all about. Not using the position of a governor to unleash vendetta on people because you want to be a vice president which he can never get. He declared two weeks curfew simply because he was booed, he planted dynamite in his own Fathers church just to paint some group of people bad and see one more reason to justify his crime against humanity. You can hide from man,but can't hide from karma |
