I actually eat goat meat more than I eat beef. I don't like beef. Don't use your lifestyle to judge everyone.
The next question is why cattle rearing must be a precondition. What about the riverine states. Aren't they better off doing fish farming than cattle rearing?
Or are cows more important than fish? It's due to that bias for cows that will lead to the undoing of the programme.
Most of those states are interpreting the NLTP as an opportunity to have their own indigenes engage in livestock farming not housing Fulani herdsmen.
Benue and Taraba especially are looking to put their indigenes in charge which will mean the herdsmen there will become useless. If you really think Buhari will support such a plan then you've got another thing coming
