AmericanQuarter:Oh , I see. Yet , nothing spectacular. Generally our Anambra architects lack style , taste and class. I want to see some mind blowing designs and they don't cost a fortune. I think these people who are designing houses in Anambra has very little exposure to world class ideas. I remember when I was trying to build a house in Nigeria my father sent a lot of the typical Nigerian designs and told me that what everybody is building and that my taste was foreign. Why cant we create our own style using ancient Anambra art and designs. Our ancestors had more imagination than us. The ancient wooden doors , the carvings etc. Something is lacking in us. We are a lost people |

IDENNAA:Not to knock Ned Okonkwo but I didnt see anything particularly fantastic about his buildings. These duplexes or "town houses" are 40 year old designs. No trees in sight. He has made a lot of money though as a developer so give him that. |

Very beautiful. Ned has done beautiful housing units across Abuja and Lagos. He is going to do even greater ones in AMC. This AMC gonna be the best precinct in SE and SS region. film3four: |

IDENNAA:What the guy showed in the video was the previous works done by Ned. AMC is more or less a green city., check their 3D. And, the good thing about AMC is that they are building according to specifications and details in their colourful 3D designs. Really beautiful. |

leicestercamper:Ok , I will be here probably for another 50 years ! But , to God these negligence can't continue! Obulu ogwu ,oma nle! None of these politicians are ready to take Anambra to world class development and infrastructures. Town planning is almost non existent. Primus Odili who is Chief of Staff to Obiano just bought a million dollars house in Tennessee. A Rev. Father from my home town knows him from seminary school...smh Half of the money we generate goes to the pockets of few men....I want to spill the blood of these criminals. Only a person like me can bring total law , order and discipline to Anambra and slash the outrageous salaries of the people including the governor's to 100,000 naira monthly! These people are robbing us blind and all their children are schooling abroad. These politicians don't have any love for Ndi Anambra. I want to show them total terror! |

Governor Obiano Vistis Hilton Liesure Hotels, Awka, Commends Igwe Ben Emeka By Ejike Abana (ABS Government House Correspondent) Anambra state Governor, Chief Willie Obiano has commended the proprietor of Hilton Liesure Hotel, Awka for heeding his Aku Luo Uno call. Governor Obiano gave the commendation when he visited the hotel which was commissioned last Friday. The Governor who described the edifice as tastefully built and furnished, said that once the ongoing airport is completed, visitors will need good hotels to lodge, expressing optimism that it will enjoy high patronage. While stressing that Anambra is open and viable for business and investments, he called for more ndi Anambra and non-ndi Anambra to think home and bring their investments into Anambra. Speaking about his motivation, Igwe Ben Emeka who is also the Traditional Ruler of Umueri said that the security architecture built by Governor Obiano engineered him into bringing out his God-given resources to develop his home state. He called for all hands to be on deck to work towards building the dream Anambra, admonitioning against building other states, while Anambra is dire need of investors and development.

Because some unverified random website wrote Igbo sounding names without any video for them to confirm their names? Hatred is a disease Tueh! Why don't you leave Igbos and their tread alone? You can obviously see that Igbos are not perturbed by your hateful rants and deceit. |

$110M ANAMBRA ULTRA-MODERN INTERATIONAL MARKET KICKS OFF AT ISIAGU By Emmanuel Ifesinachi 12th, November 2020 In effort to further improve the commercial profile and strengthen the economy of the State, the Anambra State Government in partnership with JC Michaels Ltd (the Developers) and Keystone Bank Nig. Ltd has embarked on building a One Hundred and Ten Million Dollar ($110M) Anambra Ultra-Modern International Market at Isiagu, Awka-South Local Government Area. The Anambra Ultra-Modern International Market, first of its kind in Sub-Sahara Africa, would contain ten thousand (10,000) lock-up shops, malls, plazas and is expected to become operational in the next 12-months. The Ultra-Modern International Market would contain other auxiliary facilities like hospital, schools, banks, flyovers and basement. Speaking at the palace of the Traditional Ruler of Isiagu when the officials of the tripartite Team paid a courtesy call on HRH, Igwe Augustine Nwankwo, the Team Leader and the MD/CEO of JC Michaels Ltd, Chief Jude Amuzie stated that the concerned partners came to inform him that they are committed and ready with the necessary human and material resources to start off work on the designated site. Chief Amuzie explained that the location of the Ultra-Modern International Market would be a source of blessings to the community, attract goodwill to Isiagu and drastically reduce the traffic problems being experienced at the current Eke-Awka axis in Awka. The Team Leader assured that the partners are aware of their corporate responsibility and appealed to the Traditional Ruler and members of the Isiagu Town in general to support the project for the interest of Anambra State. Responding, the Traditional Ruler of Isiagu, Igwe Augustine Nwankwo commended the Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano for his commitment towards making Anambra State one of the fastest growing and competitive economy across Africa. Igwe Nwankwo assured of his community total support to ensure that the project is successfully done and completed in a record time. He therefore pleaded that the community be carried along in the course of the project development. On his part, the President-General of the Community, Mr. Louis Okeke lauded the initiative and promised to ensure their safety throughout their stay as according to him, Isiagu Community will be the greatest beneficiary once the project is completed. In a vote of thanks, the Secretary of JC Michaels Ltd, Barrister Ikechukwu Ibeto noted that the International Market project is one of the huge investment coming into Anambra State as a result of the business friendly environment created by the Obiano administration. Barr. Ibeto opined that on completion the International Cargo Airport at Umueri and the Anambra Ultra-Modern International Market at Isiagu would complement each other in terms of business activities and invariably make Anambra State the major hub of economic activities in Nigeria. Among the visiting Team were the Director of Works, Anambra State Ministry of Works, Engr. Michael Obiekwe and the Media Officer, Mr. Emmanuel Ifesinachi. |

You don't believe in reality The problem with you is that you don't believe and support in what's happening currently, you believe in what Will happen in future time instead. Also you are aiming too high while you know the kind of country you are. comparing Anambra state it's governor and ongoing/completed infrastructural development with other states and their governors is rubbish as it won't change anything Comparing Nigeria with other countries won't change anything. Blaming the government on nairaland forum is shit go to government House and blame them instead. And also be praying so that one we are doing let's do it better and very well hammerDK: |

AmericanQuarter:I’m not seeing provision made for sidewalks, but if this is the main access road into the estate it can be overlooked at this stage! They should commence planting trees on either side of the road so they take root and mature a bit by the time the job is completed! |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by OreMI22: 6:44pm On Dec 04, 2020 |
XANDERO85:Exactly!!! Trees, flowers abundantly planted and meticulously maintained are the only things that will make this estate stand out from the regular basic Nigeria housing estates that frequently look like deserts where much concrete is allowed but trees and flowers are forbidden. |
