Is a reference letter needed for work experience you are not claiming points for?

For example: I wirked for company A as an estimator from 2010 - 2013(3years) then a project manager from 2013-2014(1year)

I am claiming points for only 2010-2013. is a reference letter and job duties needed for being a project manager?

Thanks in anticipation for your inputs.
No, not needed.
but 2010 isn't within the last 10yrs though, is it?...I'm nt sure of my maths
It's experience within the last 10yrs that counts though

I don't think outright rejection. It will mean your years of experience or employment history at some point should indicate that you once held such a role. You know some people try to game the system to prove they have done a certain demanded role for longer than they have.

Such marriage record can expose that claims.

Technically, they are not Avorians, they are Hongkongains and some other VOs. Their files were moved from AVO. Big Congrats to everyone who has recently gotten their PPR. May Canada indeed favour you guys. Like I tell some of my friends, getting to Canada is one thing, succeeding there is another thing. While people wait for their PPRs, make sure you are getting enough skills here that would be relevant there, and networking also. Our journey will be smooth by God's Grace.

Congratulations to all AVOrians grin grin grin that received PPR yesterday. We March 2019 AVOrians are looking at Accra with side eye.... May we not lose hope

Christmas came early for me. it's PPR!!

Timeline

ECA - 03/June/2020
IELTS - 13/June/2020
CRS - 481
ITA - 8th July 2020
AOR - 12th Sep 2020
Single Applicant

DECISION TO MIGRATE
Since them born me actually...cause mannn, this country don spoil tey tey. But anyways, I have always wanted to leave as far back as I can remember. Tried the school route for my masters, didn't work. I got the full gist about EE from @COPR2020 and @teesquad007 early last year. I was in the 2nd year of my Msc then so I had to chill till I was done

ECA
Finished Msc in November 2019, result came out in Feb 2020. Used WES. Processed my transcript from Unilag same Feb. Had to grease someone's palm for my transcript to leave Unilag (another reason to run from this country). ECA came out June 3rd

IELTS
LRWS - 8.5, 8.5, 7.5, 8. Registered with IDP/MOD on the 26th May for 13th June. Maxed it in one sitting. Entirely by God's grace, cos this boy no sabi anything. Result came out on the 26th of June. Dived into the pool the next day

ITA - 8th July.

Medicals - Qlife

PCC - Insp. Moshood

POF -100% gift deed from my Dad. Notarised in court for 2k

REFERENCE LETTER -
Had to wait till I had gathered every other document before going to break the news to my boss that I needed a reference letter from him. I had just demanded for a raise in July (after having gotten one earlier in march). I was waiting for ending of August to see if my salary was raised. Salary came, it was raised. So you can imagine having to go and ask for reference letter to japa one month after demanding a raise.

Anyways, I went and told my boss I wanted to pursue another degree in Canada in 2022 and wondered if he would oblige to stand as a referee for my school application. He said no problem. So I told him that at the same time I was trying to process a residency permit to enable me work while schooling and would need a work reference letter from him (can u imagine such stupid lamba??). Baba said "enheh", I said "ehn". He said "ok, whenever the time comes". Nigga was thinking 2022.
One week later I went back and told him baba the time has come. Baba said "ahn ahn, enheh", I said "ahh, ehn". I sha got the reference letter after much much

AOR - 12th September 2020

MEP/BIL - 14th October
Biometrics Done- 30th October

Ghost Update - 30th October
Ghost Update - 11th November
Ghost Update - 22nd November
Ghost Update - 30th November

PPR- 1st December
VO - Accra

from AOR to PPR - 2 months, 19days

God be praised.
Special thanks to @Mmamaroon for reveiwing my ref letter. Your PPR is here already. Said a prayer for you. God bless you for all you do.

Good day all, please your wise counsel is needed.
The name on our CAC document bears ABC pharmaceuticals but we operate a supermarket bearing ABC superstores. Plan before Canada was to open a Pharmacy later. So do you think the CAC document is going to be an issue when submitting evidence of self employment for the superstore?
Thank you.

I paid 71k with my GTBank card last week Wednesday

Thank you for your response Debbie. My MSc is from a university in the UK. How much should I set aside for everything in total? I have not actually started the process.

Hello! please I need clarification on EE application. my MSC admission letter says 2016/2017 session. When I'm filling out the EE application form, what year should I use as admission date? 2016 or 2017. I'm asking because I don't want anything to cause them to deny my application
2016. For confirmation did you start in 2016 or 17?

For Uk universities the process is faster with Wes and doesn’t require the yeye verification process again. Since you’re evaluating one degree which is your highest degree I think it’s just the $230 CAD. IELTS (this one u can’t say How much exactly but per exam is 75k) . To get in the pool you need these two first of all and then other expenses will follow. Thankfully the expenses are in bits so it may not really impact you that much as opposed if we all had to pay the whole thing at once

So I got a new heads-up on general applications today. Someones application was rejected for inconsistencies because his occupation on his marriage certificate read something and his occupation/work experience/work history read another thing. Who would have thought they connect the dot this way??

For those married and are yet to submit their application, you may wanna take a look at this o.

I fall umder this category ooo.. Please what is the way out. Should we explain further in our LOE?

Perhaps it would be better if you found a former SENIOR colleague, even a peer or former owner's relatives that worked there, to help write the ref letter, adding company ID, business card etc you could also add any docs that show company actually existed e.g. employment letter, your ID and maybe an LOE to explain company is defunct.

With a JUNIOUR colleague may VO not wonder how competent the person is to comment on your duties?

Maybe colleague is colleague and it doesn't matter though.....#JustMyView

Thank you so much. It is just the late MD, I and the junior worker (receptionist).

No. You require both your IELTS & WES report before opening an EE profile

I sincerely appreciate your kind response.

Is it advisable to proceed with WES while I write my IELT Exams?
