I think Lampard will sell Rudiger/Christensen soon. That may be the reason why they are getting game time over Tomori.

According to Emenalo, one former manager wanted Abramovich to 'shut down' the academy, and focus on pumping money to buy stars.

Don't know why some fans just hate Mount, but his club and national teammates, managers, ex footballers, pundits and even other opposition managers are full of nothing but praise for the young man.

One even said no one tips Mount to be even Championship level. I guess when Messi said he will become one of the best players in the world, he was talking about Basketball. undecided

Kai is class, and so is Mount. Both will come good great.

Kovacic is a baller.

And Lampard is doing well.

The people who have dedicated themselves to bashing these guys senselessly are on a long thing and should get ready to cry more, cos you will be seeing their faces for a long time. grin

mount is a mediocre player, he is like Willian, they will use ginger to deceive you, zero productivity, if kai played the same number of games as mount, he would have close to 10 goals by now
Youre wasting your time. It’s no longer news that we Chelsea fans like our academy players so much. Even if they’re delivering below pa, you wouldn’t see them criticize him.

Same way they believed so much in RLC years ago when we told them he’s just average with a fine boy swag. He’s almost 25 now & watch how they’ll still call him youth & developing at Fulham. Same fans pressured Chelsea board into signing new contract of almost £200k for bench specialist “teenager” CHO.

The Chelsea academy agenda must always agendate.

Since we lost KDB. We’ve been hoping.

Sarri was always benching Cho which we don’t like. That helped fuel the momentum.

Cho wasn’t getting game time. The uproar from fans due to being benched coupled with Bayern interest put him in that pedestal edge.

This day in 2016, Antonio Conte led Chelsea to destroy Fraudiola and his Man shitty team at Ettihad stadium, 3-1.

Costa, Willian and Hazard scored in the entertaining match.

One of the best away performances in epl by Chelsea in recent times against a big team for me.

I really don't know where you read this rumours from.
Hudson Odoi's longterm contract is £120k weekly with a hefty price tag.
Is't a bad thing to clamour for players from Chelsea academy, considering John Terry was the last person to cement a place in the first team?
Is that too much to ask considering how much Roman has spent on Chelsea Academy and the array of laurels these boys have won in the youth level.
Man united have been fielding young players from their Academy since i started watching football. Look at Mason Greenwood & Marcus Rashford.
Mason Mount has done well enough to justify his inclusion in our match day squad even though, there were matches he wasn't supposed to feature but what does it matter. He's playing for his boyhood club and he's one of our own!

Salah and KDB was really painful to watch, especially salah the way he was pushed around cry

Only James looks solid to me, the rest are useless, even Barca with their famous academy can't produce anything, its luck, you cant force players to be great.

Ever heard the name Ansu Fatti?
Can you watch and read more about this, than come here to display your ignorance?

Nobody says all these boys would hold down the shirt for years to come, certainly, some would be traded, while some would fade into oblivion, it is how the culture of football works.

Reece James, Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori ,Billy Gilmour and Andreas Christensen are all Chelsea products fighting for places in the first team. We should be proud !

Well, I saw £180 which is close to 200

It’s good feeling to have academy players playing in first team, but we need to accept that they can turn out average eventually. We can’t base our analysis on emotion rather than critique what they offer. I know it was hurtful to see KDB leave, even more not given chance like others.

One of our own, one of our own, we’ll be left with Christensen CHO RLC to deliver us trophies.

I'm not surprised you don't comprehend. grin

All I'm saying is y'all should stop bashing your own players. Constructive criticism is important, not senseless bashing. Whether academy graduate, or signed. Those players I mentioned in my earlier post are among those that get the most hate, which I believe is unfair on them. So if you decide to keep hating them and bash them destructively, you're on a long thing, cos you will keep seeing their faces for a long time, and they will become great players for this club. Kovacic has already been named our player of the season, while Mount and Kai are years away from their prime.

But if you feel me calling for fans to get behind the team - instead of bashing them - is me not saying anything, that is your business.

All of us go dey alright. But who wan continue to cry, go continue cry to cry. kiss

Oga Odoi’s contract is 120. With bonus is what is pushing it to 180

The contract itself is 120
