PDP had weed, IPOB, condom, shisha, olosho, DJ Witch, jollof rice and chicken. But APC have PVC. The Lagos East by election is between those that burnt Lagos and those that wants to protect Lagos heritage. You burnt Lagos in October and expect to win election in December. Yenefer: They didn't buy votes jare. If BOG lost, its because voters don't realize that they only win if come out and vote. When people are using voter apathy as a means of telling their government they tired of them, they voters are only doing their selves a great disservice. With my experiences on electoral processes at the polling unit, the only way out is to come out and vote and vote overwhelmingly. When you don't vote, you already giving the ruling party the edge cos that opens the process manipulation and there is no how that they won't take advantage of that. They are the present power and can use that to manipulate elections in favor of their candidate... It is simple. When you have a thousand eligible voters and only 10% came to vote and even the 10% didn't even stay back to make sure that their votes are not being rendered void and null, you already telling the ruling party who has the resources to manipulate elections that he has 90% population to work with and out of that 90%, he just need to buy at least 40% more that are in his favour. That is when you see them take ballot papers to one corner to start mass thumb printing or better still, buy voters card and settle the electoral officers and bring your people to start voting using the bought PVCs. These are things have witnessed. So of course, he was rigged but as a result of people's lack of understand that no voting is not doing anything and for me, it only implies one thing, this country is not ready for any serious development and this is born out of penury and mediocrity of the mind, believing a lie that your vote can never count. Irrespective of the outcome in the States, one thing was sure, everybody came out to express their pleasure or displeasure in the millions. I don't take anybody serious in this country. From the leaders to the citizens. Even more is that most of the citizens are very foolish. Quite unfortunate for this country and its people that they prefer begging than demanding for what is their rights. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

We dey always talk am Lagos is a state ruled by intellectuals Lagos no be Edo where both present and past Governor bin dey drag certificate issue... To rule in Lagos you must have the brain. To be Lagos governor is like a President imagine governing 20million people that's almost like Ghana as a country. Tokunbo Abiru (Harvard Business School) vs Gbadamosi (LASU Dropout)... When i saw his WAEC result I knew instantly he can't do anything. In other states with that Result he will be like the best candidate but not here at all... Lagos is ruled by technocrats and all our Governors are strong Intellectuals. So I will advise Gbadamosi to go back to school first maybe we will consider him . Even if na LASU sandwich Certificate He must get one. 3 Likes |

hush15: Voters apathy signify a general lack of faith in the system. The youth already dont see any credible alternative among the contestant, hence the abstinence. You can't blame the youth on this, it is a sign of failure of the ruling parties |
