Davido Fires Archrival Wizkid With Mayorkun’s Nomination In The Same Headies Award Category

Davido has thrown shots against his arch-rival, Wizkid, claiming that his artiste, Mayorkun, has had more hits than Wizkid hence deserves to be in the same category of the Headies Awards.


Davido went emotional after it was announced that his artiste, Mayorkun had been nominated in the same Headies Awards category.

Already, it is public knowledge that both Davido and WIzkid are music enemies, hence getting one of his acts into the same category where his rival was, was the best time to shade him.

Mayorkun has been nominated in the Artiste of the Year category for the Headies Awards 2020.

In an attempt to celebrate the victory, he took to the social media site, Twitter, to celebrate Mayorkun and shade Wizkid as well.

The tweet that celebrates Mayorkun reads Davido tweeted; “LIL BRO LEVELED UP!!! I’m emotional!!”.

Interestingly, it seems some social media fans and other Twitter users also shared similar thoughts with Davido as they also believed that Mayorkun had more hits than WIzkid.
