Bashir Ahmad, the personal assistant to President Buhari on New Media, says a lot has changed in Borno state under the Buhari-led administration, Igbere TV reports. Bashir stated this on his Twitter handle this afternoon while reacting to the comment by the state governor, Babagana Zulum, who said the security situation in the state has since improved under Buhari. Borno state has been one of the hotbeds of Boko Haram activities. Bashir's tweet reads; ''FACTS: A lot has changed in Borno under PMB, 1000s incl. more than 100 Chibok girls rescued, emirs back to their kingdoms, LGAs liberated, electricity restored, schools, airport, stadium all reopened, curfew lifted, social life returned. All these things happened under Goodluck Jonathan.. Trust the impotent, infertile APC for always claiming another man's baby. All the projects so far commissioned by this government were PDP projects inherited at 90 to 95% completion. But they will be forming as if NA dem own, meanwhile they have zero projects. Fact! Unless with people with short memories, we know how it used to be. We have not forgotten so soon how bombs were detonated on almost weekly basis in our churches, mosques and market places. We have not forgotten so soon how many checkpoints we have to pass through travelling from one place to another. Yes!
