You have to conform to certain standards before getting admitted into private universities all over the world.
There are many government Universities you can attend, so you are not being denied access to education.
I know you have to conform, all I am saying is if those standards is hinged on religious beliefs, then we are not creating a society where we can exercise our religious beliefs freely...I get your point anyways.

This thread is actually about government sponsoring attack on religious groups with public funds.

The killing of Shites in the North and Hisbah police attacking the source of livelihood of non Muslims are obvious examples.

Come 2023, APC should endeavour to pick a Catholic as their Presidential flagbearer so that they can get the support of Biden. Very important.

OUK, Amaechi and Okorocha are all Catholics so APC has a rich pool to choose from.

You make sense here. Any region gathering not Roman catholic, the United states hardly see it as their entitlement of worship center.

Islamophobia in the United States

Islamophobia in the United States can be described as the affective distrust and hostility towards Muslims, Islam, and those perceived as following the religion and or appear as members of the religion and its associative groups. This social aversion and bias is facilitated and perpetuated by violent and uncivilized stereotypes portrayed in various forms of American media networks and political platforms that result in the marginalization, discrimination, and exclusion of the Muslims and Muslim perceived individuals. Media and politicians capitalize on public fear and distrust of Muslims through laws that target Muslims, while the media emphasizes Muslim religious extremism in association with violent activity.

Advocacy groups like Center for American Progress explain that this social phenomenon is not new, but rather, has increased its presence in American social and political discourse over the past ten to fifteen years. They cite that several organizations donate large amounts of money to create the "Islamophobia megaphone". CAP defines the megaphone analogy as "a tight network of anti- Muslim, anti- Islam foundations, misinformation experts, validators, grass root organizations, religious rights groups and their allies in the media and in politics" who work together to misrepresent Islam and Muslims in the United States.

As a result of this network, Islam is now one of the most stigmatized religions, with only 37 percent of Americans having a favorable opinion of Islam, according to a 2010 ABC News/ Washington Post poll.

This biased perception of Islam and Muslims manifests itself into the discrimination of racially perceived Muslims in the law and media, and is conceptually reinforced by the Islamophobia network.

A report from the University of California Berkeley and the Council on American–Islamic Relations estimated that $206 million was funded to 33 groups whose primary purpose was "to promote prejudice against, or hatred of, Islam and Muslims" in the United States between 2008 and 2013, with a total of 74 groups contributing to Islamophobia in the United States during that period. This has been referred to as the "Islamophobia industry" by scholars Nathan Lean and John Esposito.

Persecution means hostility, ill treatment, persistent annoyance, harassment usually because of religious or political beliefs. Persecution doesn't have to be violent. I am a Christian but lets tell ourselves the truth, Christians persecute people with other religious beliefs too. Ours doesn't come with any form of violence but it still remains persecution. Christian private unis are ready to admit muslim students as long as they are ready to practice Christian faith(they call it obeying the rules), same applies to muslim unis . U can say nobody forced them to attend such schools, its true nobody forced them, but that is the system encouraging religious persecution.
oya let Muslims start doing the "Christian type" of persecution.

I do not think it works like that. The catholic church in USA overwhelmingly supported trump and even considered excommunication for biden for his support towards abortion and gay marriage so i don't see why he will now consider being catholic as a criteria for supporting anybody that becomes president of Nigeria come 2023. Religious affiliation plays little role in world politics. There are a lot of Christian countries that are allies of Islamic countries. Even Israel is normalizing ties with UAE. Giving and getting support in politics is all about what one can get out of the relationship

The funny thing is the foolish nigerians that always support trash like this. No matter what part of the divide you are, these stupid classifications affects us all one way or the other. This hypocrisy of the US stink to the high heavens, why can't they always mind their own business and focus on their people dying of covid. With all these stupidity they will still not remove their hands from our resources like oil and other stolen wealth from our country. Who is deceiving who? Religious freedom my foot.

Nigerians that don't understand what religious freedom is, when there are countries in Africa where you can't even carry a Bible or be seen with it. Even in the US, is it religious freedom when a white boy enters a church and shoot black worshippers down? Abeg the US should preach religious freedom to countries like saudi arabia who have no single church but keep chasing their petrol dollars everywhere. Trump is simply not well at all

That's because some imported radicals or those given asylum from Middle East are quick to carry violent or terrorist attack in the USA. The US allows freedom to a lot of things. but killing US citizens is an exception.
