Hello, I am resident in Port Harcourt Rivers State, for over two months now i have battled with malaria. Test results conducted showed 2++ malaria with no typhoid. I have done other tests and even done HIV test and it showed negative. I have taken different anti-malaria drugs, malaria injection twice and malaria drip ones yet, it seems the symptoms are still there. About 3 days ago I finished taking malaria drip and was given anti-malaria drugs, paracetamol and blood tonic of which am taking, yet am still feeling unwell and feverish condition.

Pls I need the attention and assistance of Nairaland Doctors and experts here towards this problem.

Please are there persons in this group who have gone through such experience, pls kindly share your story and how you remedy the situation.

Are you sure it's not black tongue......I know someone with similar experience. It almost killed her before she realise it's not malaria, even the doctors couldn't diagnose it cos it's almost getting to the critical stage then, even though the tongue is not physically black yet.

Sorry what is black tongue? And how do I check for it?
