Supreme court Judges are expensive to fund , I hope you realise each judge has an entire office structure around him replete with staff that handle Secretariat duties , logistics and security ...I am close to one particular judge and I can see it cost over a billion to run him a year

I wasn't talking about salary but the cost of support structure for each Judge ...each supreme court Judge has a structure from Secretariat to logistics to security that supports them and the FG bears the cost of those . Supreme court judges are not cheap to run

Not all cases go to supreme. But our own, because of money allows all cases to come to them, making it to look as if they are over labored. Awon ole!

we need a bill that will strengthen the judiciary, that will make the judiciary to be independent. adding to the number of already existing judges is not too bad. but they should be strengthen.

Much for a country that is borrowing up and down. When you have to borrow to foot bills you cut cost wherever possible.

The US population is double that of Nigeria, yet has just 9 Supreme Court justices and their justice system is more efficient than ours, plus US is richer than Nigeria.

Yet Nigeria currently world poverty capital runs 21 Supreme Court justices yet the system is in shambles, but still wants to increase the number by adding another 20.
