I use redmi 8a, 32gig, 2gig.

Recently, my observation is that when calls come in, the phone rings but the call won't Pop up for me to pick the call till it probably stops ringing meaning I can't pick the call. There are times I need to make calls but the dialer keeps hanging and it later displays message 'phone not responding'

What could be wrong with the phone please?

It might be network..

My redmi 7 did same last year December, but work perfectly when on 3g or 2g only..

It was fixed later by network provider

Does your phone hang at times when you're just operating ?

Is your phone memory full?

Do you have pending system or system app updates ?

My Techno Spark 4 suddenly stopped powering on last year.

It doesn't even charge when you plug in the charger.

Is it possible to rescusitate this phone without me loosing information stored in it?

No, I want to be sure if it can be repaired without loosing the information on it before I start spending money on it

It spoilt since last year, if the informations on it were so important to you, u suppose don repair am since. There's very high chance that the phone will be flashed

I have already replaced the phone since.

The only reason I'm keeping it is because of the information which is largely for reference purposes.

Will flashing the phone wipe off everything in the memory?

Is it possible to remove the internal storage/memory before flashing the phone?

Flashing it would return it to factory settings so yeah everything will be wiped off.

Even if the internal storage memory is removed the phone would most likely not work cause it's probably something in the internal memory that's causing the problem.

I think taking it to Carlcare to verify from them is the best option
