Automatic Transmission Fluit for Hyundai Sonata 3,0 V6, from 1994 - 1998 is Mopar ATF Plus Type 7176 or equivalent. |

i'm aware of that, Mopar 7176 or SP II, but what are the equivalent to these? cause i cant find them in nigeria, |

Read this http://www.studebaker-info.org/PDF/44_TN4_8.PDF I believe its ATF+3, but ATF +4 is a better fluid more expensive and it made for car previously using ATF+3(upgrade) |

Siena and Sultaan, there is this ATF i saw, DEX/MERC Valvoline, its is recomended for a couple of ATF grades, including SP II and SP III, Do you think its ok for me to use that rather than waiting till i get the exact SP II? |

^^^ I wouldn't advice it. If you're in doubt, don't use it. Get someone outside Nigeria to purchase the correct fluid from a Hyundai dealership. Automatic trannies are very sensitive to fluid grade, and not very forgiving if a mistake is made. |

Well, you can get them in Hyundai/Kia/Mitsubishi dealers, but they will likely not sell to you if you didnt buy your car from them, other ATFs that could work are Valvoline's MAXLIFE, i looked for it but i couldnt get it, i later used DEX-MERC for my Hyundai sonata 94, been like 2 months, runs fine |

Siena and every good knowledged person in the house, could you kind advice me on the type of transmission fluid, filter and engine oil I can confidently use for my hyundai Sonata 2000 model 16v 2.4l engine 4 plugs with auto transmission. I eagerly await your response on my query. Cheers. |
