Yesterday Evening I checked my first semester 400l result and it wasn't good I failed 2 compulsory courses which means extra year for me. I'm currently depressed I don't know what to do. I don't have any plans I'm just down for now. I can't eat, I can't perform any task. My CGPA is bad very bad 3rd. Please I need advice. I don't know what to do with my life anymore.

I'm sorry for the bad write up I'm not good with words. I don't know what steps to take.

A bad CGPA is not the end of life and neither is it a yardstick by which success is deternined. But my advice is that you focus on graduating. And most importantly, hold on to God.

Lemme tell you my story! Back in 2017 I was in your shoes I had an extra year, I was down, sad I contemplated suicide and lots more. My friends were celebrating I was all alone brooding. When I wanted to retake the exam I missed the right day for it. I ran helter skelter b4 I could fix tinz up. A friend introduced me to programming I started learning from there. I later graduated, served. And am working with a software company now and doing good for myself. My friends that graduated b4 me even with First Class are still struggling to find a job. So my friend failure sometimes is a blessing in disguise, it's a chance for you to pick yourself up and try again. Only those who let it consume them are the true failure. Peace!

That's not the end of one's life. some institution will wave a total of up to the sum of 6units(faculty and school course not included, you have to pass this ones for graduation).

if your doesn't fall under the dept. then you just have to sit up for Ur second semester so you don have any other Carry over to the ones u have already.

so if Ur C.O is for only first semester, you can resit them and process your name for second batch or third senate list depending on the institution.

for more, I will kindly advice you to meet your HOD, so you know what to do.

bro go there, yourself funny enough some of this private university do not require jamb for admission, but you must provide pass jamb before graduation
