everything in uganda is always weird, why give the organizers permission to organize the show initially.
why would they give the organisers permit and then go ahead to arrest.

It's is a set up

We have lost each and every respect we have a gathered as a country.

They are just playing politics with them.

that is how things are done.

And even if there was no permit organisers should be the one they should arrest, because I am sure he publicized it on TV/radio etc and definitely the their gvt, police were aware but they waited for the artists to perform then arrested them.

Why does he expect that the Nigerian foreign ministry has a right to secure his release?

If the Ugandans are violating his rights in anyway, the matter is to be settled in Court (both local and international) not by the foreign ministry.
Because he is a citizen of Nigeria.

lol.

Okay, reference the law that compels a State to allow the foreign ministry of another state to help its citizens get out of trouble for breaking laws.

I eagerly await an enlightened submission.
OK I hear you .

Good for him let him spend a week or two in irons!

Nigerian people keep exporting the lawlessness in their own society to other people's lands...other African countries are progressing at a much higher rate ahead of Nigeria because rules are being followed, which is why this same Uganda with no crude oil or cheap forex does not have a forex rate issue or even an internet fraud problem.

Some lowlifes are already judging you here without knowing the whole story

POLICE ESCORTED THEM FROM AIRPORT
POLICE ESCORTED THEM TO HOTEL
POLICE ESCORTED THEM TO VENUE

ORGANIZERS MADE THE SHOW HAPPEN
SHOW WAS APPROVED

later POLICE ARRESTS ARTIST
WHO HAVE BEEN ESCORTING THEM?
WHO ORGANIZED THE SHOW
WHO APPROVED THE SHOW?

and some oloriburuku here in Nigeria are already praising Uganda for no impunity

People are just stupid in this country
Look, same thing happened here in Abuja with Naira Marley.

It wasn't until the images appeared online that the authorities took action.

It was when he posted his picture with crowds that people started complaining and the cops had to do something.
They just wanna make a scapegoat out of him.

Let's be objective here. If an SA artist come to Nigeria during this pandemic and hold a show with that crowd and also post the picture online. What do you think Nigerians will say?

There is no ignorance b4 the law .

The report is that they were arrested alongside 4 Ugandans. Ostensibly, the organizers. Now the question is, what does Ugandan law actually say? Does it limit liability to the organizers? Does it consider the singers to be part of the organizers?

Do you know the answers?

Trump intervened Asap rocky. Try to be diplomatic in your comment, do research, not just come and say rubbish, he is a citizen of Nigeria, and the president swore to protect every citizen
