last Night I was termed an extremist by my friends for saying I won't support negotiation with terrorist. some agreed with me but said in the case of kankara, I better negotiate cos those boys lives are very important and it would create a world wide condemnation if they were killed. while I know for sure it would really trigger heavy crisis in the world if they are killed, I still can't help to negotiate with them. I know they might not be my brothers that's why I'm talking this way but at the same time, we need to look beyond our Nose. if I pay them to release my brother today, they'll buy more weapons and kidnap my neighbours two sons tomorrow. paying them by whatever means should be abolished as records have shown they become stronger through ransome. there should be a world law restricting every govt of every country from paying Ransom to terrorist in the name of negotiation. negotiation with ransome should no longer be an option no matter who or what is at stake. the world needs to take concrete decisions against these set of evil people.. |

It is only God that can forgive terrorists But it is the job of a sane government to send them to God |

donbachi:exactly. too many compromise by security agencies, govt and even the people.. in my place kuje(Abuja) kidnapping is becoming more easier despite improved security presence. it started with rubochi, a village in kuje. became rampard until the villagers armed themselves with jazz and started attacking them. now they've moved to kuje town kidnapping people from middle of kuje.. security was beffed up but yet seems it was the kidnappers they went to protect as the kidnapping increased again. the police, army, leaders and the people have all compromised to evil and it's not helping us.. |

illicit:better pesin. they don't even need to be arrested.. the treatment SARS were giving to armed petty thieves in the south should be metted on them. they should be killed instantly without any rubbish overprolonged trials.. Maryam sanda was sentenced to death for stabbing her husband, why is it difficult to charge bandits and terrorist to death? I don't think I've seen any news where a terrorist was sentenced to death. |
