Decimus:You are clearly the one with a problem... The FG is notorious for giving fake promises... If there is no tangible implementation, no one is calling any strike off. |

inteli:Exactly, it will not work this time on ASUU. If you read that press statement there is no part where it's stated that an agreement had been reached; it's just FG trying to paint ASUU as the reason why schools are not yet open; to turn the people against ASUU but it ain't working, shame on them. |

jmaine:Go back and read it again. perhaps letter by letter. if they don't call it off, it's the lecturers and sadly the students that will feel the heat. There's only one promise there, call off the strike and we'll get a waiver for you to get your outstanding salaries. What stops ASUU from suspending the strike conditionally? |

Decimus:You are simply not serious about suspending the strike conditionally after going this far without any tangible move from the FG. You feel ASUU members are fools and kids that Ngige can play aimlessly.. If Ngige and the FG were keeping to their promises. Will ASUU be on strike..? They reneged on series of agreements, and you expect them to call off based on non tangible excuses that they are waiting for account number for over two weeks to pay the revitalization and EAA. Or that part made perfect sense to you... No lecturer will feel any heat.. Rather it is the FG that will feel the pulse of the masses early next year.. EndSARS will be a joke compared to this. |

Decimus:If they call it off, FG will not pay. Politicians are notorious for not honouring promises, and you know that. Apart from salaries, the EAA they promised to pay, have they paid? Even the deadline for Mainstreaming is by the corner, no news. So how do you expect any one or group to trust your government? All they're interested in, is the announcement of call off, nothing more. And ASUU no be NLC, it's a body of professionals and intellectuals. Many are sick, others are dying. But my brother, the waiting continues. |

jmaine:Lecturers will not be spared in the event that a riot breaks out due to the strike. They'll be dealt the same blow as policemen during EndSARS. Take that from me ! |

Jman06:Lolz... You are simply joking.. A vast majority are not as feeble minded as you. You rather prefer the FG continue with their sleeze than do the needful.. SSANIP are warming up for a strike... Let Ngige continue being a clown.. |
