Since you're advocating for injustice and inequality, every citizen should go about oppressing his/her neighbor with Guns and Cutlasses at the slightest provocation since we all want to be mad.
I haven't advocated for anything. Am only following ur line of reasoning. So since u are clamouring for justice & equity, would it be a bad idea if d police showed d same zeal for d bandits that kidnapped school kids in katsina?

Why do you seem want to remain foolish and supporting evil why? why ? HE HAS A LICENCE POSTED ON INSTAGRAM.

NIGERIA PROBABLY THE WORST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD
Whats evil there? Ogbeni Parkwell. If he has a license does it mean he should use the gun to harrass people? Even if he goes to rob a bank with it people like you would still say he has a license for the gun used.
Re: Policemen Invade Seun Kuti's House In Lagos, Arrest Family Member by sunboy(m):
Reading some people’s comment shows that Nigeria as a country may never grow, my people refuse to change their mindset.

1. Pulling gun: First, with his popularity he won’t dare pull a gun that is not licensed in the first place. He pulled a gun on “A bouncer who was called to beat him up, then to his face threaten to treat his Fukc-up.” You don’t threaten someone’s life and know peace. Especially in Nigeria when you’re your own police, nepa and everything.

2. Who approved an event center to be situated on a residential area in the first place ? Without soundproof walls, and enough parking spot for its own guests?
In a country where things actually works, those cars that were blocking your property will get towed at owners cost.

3. The govt is trying hard so silent ALL oppositions, just talk one thing against their agenda and they will be ready to take you in, offer you money or worse put you in jail forever. Sowore, Zakizaky and the likes comes to mind.

Here we have some people typing foolish grammar as regards to where he found a gun he pulled on innocent citizen “he’s also an innocent citizen, who’s trying to do his thing but was disturbed by the action of another inconsiderate citizen, all case settled, a bouncer was called to come beat you up, in your own house and neighborhood”

Anybody ask where Fulani herdsmen got their gun? And what licenses they have ?

Our mumu can never be full in this country, we are so used to doing things upside down. Any intent to change the status quo is always silenced by the government and firmly supported the same masses.

Bandits it a story for another day/thread, this thread is about Seun Kuti.
All criminals (whether in Katsina or Lagos) should be apprehended and prosecuted will every zeal in tandem with the law of the land.

"Whataboutism" has no ground in Law.

Army generals are of course permitted to carry and use arms, so I would have to be suicidal, to provoke a military man in any way. Thank you for the suggestion all the same.
So you know you will be provoking someone by trespassing on their property but because they are not in the military you think it is okay to disrespect them? Wow, your logic is shit dude.
Re: Policemen Invade Seun Kuti's House In Lagos, Arrest Family Member by KaluwisxPRO:
Jakumo:
As a duly licensed gun owner of one quarter century and counting under Nigerian law, I assure you sir, that even in the case of trespass, Nigerian law does NOT permit the confrontational use of a firearm by any civilian homeowner, regardless of whether or not that weapon happens to be licensed. The ONLY legitimate civilian use of a gun in Nigeria, is for hunting, and a statement to this effect is actually printed on every firearm permit issued by the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

That said, I have on occasion been obliged to administer warning shots in the dead of night, when the perimeter of my jungle hideout was breached by uninvited guests, but I would NEVER own up to having taken such corrective measures in any public platform where my identity is known. The law must be SEEN to be followed by all who cherish freedom and peace. Never brag about breaking the law, especially online.
Mr, you have basically just told us that you do not need a gun. Because if you cannot use your firearm against trespassers, then you have no use. And I have no idea what Nigeria law you are quoting because everyone in Delta that I have seen with licensed firearms bear them in public and not in any sorts of hunting purpose. Therefore, you have to revisit the permissions given to you when your license was granted. If I may ask, what did you tell the commissioner of police you will be doing with your firearm when your license was granted and what animal have you hunted? Clearly you got your license under false pretense of hunting if you have never hunted with your firearm since you were granted a license.

It might be a thread about Seun but it's also about justice & equality as pointed out by u. Remember u also made mention of small doctor despite it being a thread on seun kuti.

Am not sure d "whataboutism" in law u are referring. But since u say "All criminals (whether in Katsina or Lagos) should be apprehended and prosecuted will every zeal in tandem with the law of the land", d question is why that same "zeal in tandem with the law of the land" hasn't been applied in katsina?

So, Fulani herdsmen are justified to take the laws into their own hands because they feel threatened by farmers.

That's the logical end game of your assertion.

Good job.
Fulani Herdsmen are trespassers, rearing animals should be done at ranches, not people’s farm. Where else in the world do you see animals grazing in other peoples farm or in Public? People are really illogical in this forsaken country. Imagine someone saying a Fulani herdsman who’s feeding his animals on other peoples agricultural produce are within their rights. Then it simply means armed robbbers are within their rights to come to your house and take what they want.

Who get pawa, show am, as man pikin consign, make we see am korro-korro eye, no shaking.

In the old West of America, when grizzled cowboys openly carried their six-guns in leather holsters at their hip "for all the honest world to see", all those armed men generally displayed exaggerated courtesy to one another out in the streets, especially at high noon, because nobody knew which gunslinger had the fastest draw ha ha.

He has a permit for the gun.he posted his gun license permit the other day on Instagram
They will use that against him still. Remember the previous IG refused to renew all lincenses and canceled existing ones. No new lincense has been issued ever since. He even asked for all arms to be submitted to the authorities.
That was at the time heardsmen and Bandits were attacking villages. It was a subtle way of disarming folks to the advantage of heardsmen.

I think the only time he could have pulled out the firearm( which is lincensed only for hunting) would have been if he had intruders threatening his life within his residence. Ie armed robbers.
He surely overstepped by brandishing it on his street.
