Kankara students meeting Buhari

A former minister of Aviation in Nigeria, Femi Fani-Kayode has released fresh allegation revealing how some Security Chiefs and top government officials allegedly shared the ransom paid to secure the release of over 300 GSS Kankara students in Kastina State among themselves.

According to Mr. Fani-Kayode, a ransom of about N4million pounds was paid, along with the release of three top Boko Haram Commanders in exchange for the release of the Kankara GSS students.

“The “kidnap” was a well-orchestrated scam to make money?

4 million pounds was paid in return for the “kidnapped” students and the release of three Boko Haram commanders?

The money was shared between the terrorists, some security chiefs and some senior Government officials?

Can all this be true?: He wrote via his verified Facebook page.

Fani-Kayode’s allegation is coming on the heels of another reported abduction of several students of Islamiyya school in Mahuta town, Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State shortly after the release of the GSS Kankara students SEE IT HERE

Femi Fani-Kayode a known critic of the Buhari led administration also went ahead to knock the president on his choice of addressing the released Kankara students in Hausa language in the stead of English which is Nigeria’s lingua franca.

“You addressed the Kankara students at a public gathering in front of the nations media in Hausa rather than English.

May I remind Mr. President that English is the lingua franca of Nigeria and not Hausa and that those kids are NIGERIAN children and not just Hausa Fulani children.

Millions from all over the country, including the South, prayed for their release and they also deserved to understand what you said to the kids when you met them.

If you want Nigeria to remain one then treat us all as equals. If you do not then carry on with what you are doing.

Meanwhile Boko Haram abducted 35 travellers from a Borno highway yesterday whilst ANOTHER set of children were “kidnapped” by terrorists from their school in Mahuta, Dandume LGA, Katsina state last night.

This is just a day after the students that were kidnapped in Kankara were released”.

Meanwhile multiple sources from the government had earlier denied that ransom was paid to secure the release of the Kankara students, a position still being contested by many Nigerians, even on social media.

£4 million grin

By the time we finish with this country, Dangote will be poor compared to our top northern commanders, my governor El Rufai, I can see your hand in this.

We in the north are stocking up on cash in case the country splits.

FFK could be a talkative but how can the kidnappers just release over 300 kids just like that without a ransom or a demand for something else

Even a kid wouldn't believe that.

Buhari is borrowing foreign loans to pay ransom to his Fulani terrorist brothers. Is there any tangible thing he has done with the loans?

Absolutely nonsense!!

The defenders of this administration on twitter said the governor called the kidnappers and ordered them to release the kids,

thats their narrative right now , they are saying no money was paid

So that also begs the question, How did governor get their number and how close is their relationship that terrorists gave up their valuable beautiful hostages for free

this part they cant answer yet

The script writers fell my hand, I think the holding time was supposed to be up to a month but when American government offered to send a force to rescue the boys, there was a panic to release them.

How much is ordinary 2 billion naira to service chief that all of them would risk embarassing themselves and the Presidency at a time everybody wanted service chief sacked over insecurity

Buhari, his Service Chief, the Presidency all of them couldn't face the embarasment and had to pay the ransom even when they know some Governors are behind this
