Any project involving FG always turn out white elephant project, eg ajaokuta steel.I would have preffered an all private sector collaboration.FG does not have the political will to breakthrough |

Interesting why development of a new port in Akwa Ibom makes more sense than expanding Calabar port. Calabar port has been agitating for dredging and deepening of their water way to allow for bigger ships to berth. This was supposed to be one of the issues restricting the proper take off of Tinapa. Anyway, maybe the issue is with the Governor. Akwa Ibom governor may have a bigger and better vision for his state than Ayade. Since Duke left Calabar, Tinapa has been left abandoned. Now the Ayade government is talking about CalasVegas when Tinapa, which was a world class construction by JB, is wasting away. God, who we offend for Nigeria!? |

rollingrocks:I wouldnt have want to join issues with u, but i think u r akpabio man. Do you know akpabio budgeted monies for this seaport from 2011-2015? Do u know akpabio gave out the design of this project to a woman who is a fashionista, someone that doesnt know jack about port? Do u know also the woman took akwaibom state govt to court when the administration of udom came in and inuagurated a standing committee headed by mfon usoro for the actualisation of the port? Udom's mandate was strictly industralization. Akpabio constructed all the roads in and out of akwaibom, that gave birth to the slogan "akwaibom ado ok". Am not holdng briefs for udom cos he has mess up in youth empowerment. But when it comes to industralization, give it to him. He has tried. Do u think its easy to attract investors to a state that is almost at the end of the map? Akwaibom is almost at the exit point of the country, sharing boundaries with the ocean. Akpabio would have been the one to deliver on this project cos of his closeness to jonathan then. But all he was famzing about was power, control of the country, without thinking of the economy of his state. He saw so much money that he didnt know what to do again. Most of the roads he built where at inflated fees, the stadium i dont want to go there. If udom has the financial war chest akpabio had, akwaibom would have been better than what he left it. |

UnbanEbenezar:Do they care? The worst that can happen is that they too will port to APC. What I'm even saying is that he will handle the project the same way he is handling akwa ibom- Jaga Jaga and Scatter scatter. |

yaki84:Big Error, I don't give a rat's ass about Akpabio the squandermania. He is in the past. Udom is present forced on the state by Akpabio. We hold him accountable. BTW Despite Akpabio's inadequacies, he is still better than Udom, project delivery-wise. Ebonyi state collects far less than Akwa Ibom but its project delivery is better. Industrialization, Industrialisation, is it 100% govt money, is it not PPP with govt share kept a secret? What is aks money used for? Udom is a failure abeg. Only God knows where all the state money is going. |

Udom who cannot start and complete a mere Ekom Iman flyover is the same person who can complete a phase of the sea port? ![]() |

Koffiatama:Let me help your stupidity.. Firstly: factories don't sell retailing goods to consumers, so if you don't have uyo base agent you won't see those products in your neighbourhood.. Secondly : there was no time Udom said he as completed the coconut refinery so stop spraying lies here Thirdly: All the factories Udom established exception of those under AKIIS are PPP arrangement.. Lastly: if you say that the syringe and king flour are not in the market then you are badder than lier.. Imagine saying syringe is not in the market, my guy visit the next pharmacy close to you and ask them ASAP.. |

LastProphet:So anyone that says the truth or wants the end of this evil country is an ipob member? There is nothing wrong with been an ipob member at least they are better than this evil APC Nigerian GOVERNMENT. I'm not an ipob member but I will like Nigeria to devide so that the igbos can have our own country but I will love to join ipob but I don't like some of their actions but I want the end of Nigeria. Every reasonable sensible person in this country should agitate for the end of this retrogressive contraption |
