Lol let's see what the next unemployment report will say about Akwa Ibom. Right now its the second worst in the country at 45.2%. If they're not exaggerating the jobs numbers there should see a major drop. The state should be focusing all it's attention to attrating private sector investors to the industrial city complementing the port and Oil and Gas Free zone.

Will the industrial city just entail industries alone? Or will it incorporate a mixed -used development for commercial spaces,retails spaces, residentials,offices spaces,parks resorts, hotels e.t.c

Power china and bellore are the preferred bidders of the port actually. The industrial city still needs investors.

The industrial city is tied on the back of the deep-sea-port. They should make the industrial city a free trade zone that exempt all investors, businesses from tax. That way more investment will flow there quickly and faster. But before that the govt will have to fix electricity in that axis. Even if it has to be a private power station power only the industrial area. It has to be 24/7 and very reliable.
