PSG and Juventus have become the first football clubs to have digital assets listed on the three major cryptocurrency exchanges and their impact has been huge and immediate.


In the first 24 hours of trading, the Juventus 'token' ($JUV) shifted more than 120 million euros and rose 113 percent to 28 euros, 14 times its launch price.

The PSG 'token', meanwhile, moved close to 100 million euros and its price grew 198 percent in 24 hours, reaching 32.75 euros, more than 16 times its starting price.

According to the company Chiliz, the market value of sports 'fan tokens' is around 150 million euros and in the coming months clubs such as Barcelona, Roma, Atletico Madrid and Independiente in Argentina will also be trading on the crypto exchanges.
