Please my Toyota Camry 2008 has refused to start. The car will just be cranking but won’t start .I have changed the fuel pump. I brought in a mechanic he said is an electrical fault that the plug will just spark once that’s why is not start. I brought in a rewire and he noticed that the security light is blinking while the key is still in the ignition. Pls is there anyone with similar experience?

scan ur car u will know the actual cause.

Are you sure your key don't use a sensor? Could be missing

I actually cut the key and transfer the sensor to the new key. Could it be that the sensor failed in the new key?

The key is your problem. It seems the transponder has been damaged during transplant.

Does ur car have security...if yes deactivate b4 u start..

And the key has neither dropped or entered water?. Can you snap a picture of the plastic part of the key?

They key actually fell from me hand. For water I actually don’t know.

Your transponder is the culprit. Goodluck!

You need new keys. And they will have to be programmed to work with your car.
