What about those who confirmed that they died of covid19 even prominent personalities like Abba Kyari, Ajimobi?

Covid is real. Let's stop the self deceit.

USA records a staggering 2000+ DAILY DEATHS, that's the equivalent of about 10 jumbo jets crashing daily!! Only two days ago the figure hit a record 3400 deaths.

South Africa is already seeing record cases, about 14000 per day. Morocco has about 2000.

Yet people still call it fake.

Yes, cases have been milder in this part of the world, and we thank God for it. But that's not excuse for us to take things for granted and behave foolishly.

Pls be mindful of your behavior.

The late FMC Makurdi consultant family physician is someone I knew personally and if anyone had told me he would succumb to the virus so suddenly, I would NEVER believe it.

Practice SD as much as possible. Use mask. Hand hygiene. Maintain healthy lifestyle

Why must we be so careful about COVID-19 and not malaria? ... when malaria is the epidemic here and not COVID-19? Why are we looking at the supposed out of control death rate in the US and South Africa and not that of China? How is it that China is back to normal?... China with the biggest population? See chart below and see if you can explain. COVID-19 is an agenda... a means to an end.. the end... vaccination for all.

I wonder how you people generate these figures on daily bases.so there must be new infection everyday.Even if everyone remain indoor you will still come up with something.

China, like most Asian countries took early decisive actions, including lockdowns and strict enforcement of preventive protocols. That was not the case in USA and some European and that is what experts are warning Africa about.

On the malaria issue, I've addressed this many times. But to summarize, malaria and covid are two very different diseases. Malaria has been around for centuries, so people are developed some level of immunity. Effective drugs are available which can treat it.

Yes, malaria still kills people, but it's more of structural reasons - poverty, malnutrition, etc. In otherwise healthy individuals, the risk of death from malaria is actually relatively low.

However it's not the same with emergent diseases like covid, ebola, HIVAIDSs. Because they're novel there is no immunity &therefore have the potential of causing serious damage to entire populations. Otherwise healthy people have dropped dead from covid.

This is why health experts work frantically to slow the spread while a cure or prevention is being found.

If you don't search, you don't find. The state is not doing tests freely so it is not diagnosing. Imagine Kogi people that travel to Abuja & Lagos a lot, they don't catch Covid-19? The guy will rather people die quietly, so far he can fantasize about the state having no Covid-19.

If true by now WHO would be doing research in Kogi to find SARS-COV2 resistant gene or genes.

no not at all. it's just that the fact it's stagnant despite all the traveling here and there from all over the country shows that it's not accurate.
The blatant disregard of covid 19 protocols didn't really affect the numbers. we only started having increasing numbers When other countries started complaining of second wave.
