Re the match, what can I say, even the Leeds vs Burnley match was more interesting. Burnley, of all teams even though lost, moved the ball faster and with purpose compared to the uninspiring, boring, inconsistent and brainless football on display by Lampard and his players. Lampard is the only manager still learning the trade despite having all the required tools. He will need time to get things consistently right.

When folks here were saying Werner is a winger, I just laugh at them. Werner played as a supporting striker, not as a pure winger. His strength is being diminished at that wing position.

With that said, Chelsea doesn't need his type of player for now. At the moment, he is a luxury than a necessity. The same with his brother Kai.

We needed them for tactical variations, it is left for Lampard to find the best mix that will work without team losing balance. We the squad at our disposal we should be rotating heavily and changing formations to suit our players and confuse our opponents, I see no reason why we are not using 3-4-3, 3-5-2, 4-2-3-1 and 4-4-2 often especially when we are chasing games. The like for like substitution is something I don't think is working for us so far

I think Lampard should play Werner in his preferred position as a striker in some games and use Kai also in his preferred position even though that may affect Mount's game time.

If you understand the difference between NEED and WANT, you'd understand why I said Werner and Havertz were not a necessity. They are can be important to us, but they are not necessarily needed. Positions we desperately needed personnels were: GK, CB, LB, LWF and CF...

AM and RWF in which those two now occupy wasn't a neccesity.

Mount is undroppable the work he does is too important though it may not be too pleasing on the eyes but it leaves others the license to operate.
Werner's and Tammy can and should play together because they complement each other well what we to work on is our passing between the lines and quick switch of play. How many through balls did our attackers receive in recent games? Absolute mediocre numbers. Also, Reece James and Chillwell should stop bombing forward at the same time because this will create numerical superiority for our opponents since our midfielders of late have been finding it difficult to track runners and losing possession in dangerous areas.
