Our play is basically cross and nod. I was happy when Lampard said he was going to rest Chilwell and James. We don't create through the middle anymore. Major culprits are Kante, Zouma and our FB's.
Kante's passing range is limited. He doesn't scan well enough, rarely plays line breaking passes or through balls. If you press him, he simply passes the ball to our CB's.
Zouma has similar issues . He slows down our build-up by at least 3-4 secs.

For German national team, he plays wing or striker. Na there he go live or die. We are not doing any Lacazette or Griezmann business here. Leipzig do not play with real wingers, they either use Angelino, Nkunku or Haidara who are not traditional wingers. Angelino is a full-back while Nkunku and Haidara are AMs capable of drifting wide but not free-flowing runners with the ball. Those are the sort of players you use if you want to play two strikers because they need to be able to come inside to protect the centre (as you will only have two CMs), and they also need to leave some space on the flanks for Werner to run into.

In German National where he has Sane and Gnabry who are traditional wingers, he plays in a traditional 4-3-3. Chelsea is not about to ditch Ziyech and Pulisic wing play just to accommodate Werner as support striker. That will involve playing the likes of Mount and Havertz as nominal wingers if you want to play two strikers which will not happen.

Mount is undroppable the work he does is too important though it may not be too pleasing on the eyes but it leaves others the license to operate.

Son is a different class of player to Werner. He likes to take on players and dribble; all classic attributes of a winger. Werner doesnt and cannot beat the defense from the wings, So why should Frank keep deploying him to the wings?
