Hello Nairalander,
A student in Brazil which I'm teaching IELTS online wants to make payment for the lessons. He has tried MoneyGram, Skril, Transferwise, Western Union, Azimo but none of them workout. Please which App can he use? Both transfer to domiciliary account and to NGN account did not go through.

Use Business PayPal and then use Xoom but it seems they don't pay directly into Naira account again so you would have to do cash pick up in the foreign currency at the Nigeria bank you choose by hand... Hope that help.

PayPal don't accept Nigerian so you have to open a Lesotho account if you don't have to verify your account via Atm before you use PayPal on any apps I would advise you not to stress yourself. I had challenges linking my Atm ,in my own case I was told someone already linked it to another account when I contacted PayPal and they promise to get back but I haven't hear from them, the second card is not even linking at all though the bank told me there was a previous one I need to deactivate which I never subscribe to, but it is working for other international transactions but I think Xoom would be helpful.

Transfer from Skrill to your Domiciliary account did not work? Are you sure? Because that's strange o

Let him use bitcoin. It's the easiest way. He can go on binance and buy some bitcoin equivalent to your charge in USD and then transfer to your bitcoin wallet. Open a binance account and you would see your wallet address. You can then cash out to naira easily.

On binance just convert your bitcoin to Nigerian naira and transfer to your bank account. It can be done in like 1 minute. Binance has a partnership with flutterwave so it's seamless.

Either, you add your domiciliary account to your Skrill account via your bank details or your Visa or Mastercard card attached to your domiciliary account. The latter is quite faster for withdrawals.

There are several choices to consider and the least advisable is PayPal because you cannot access your funds from Nigeria.

Meanwhile Are you having it difficult for getting paid by your overseas customers for your goods and services? I have a solution for you at http://paymelocal.ensap.com

Here's how I got mine, if it's not too late... At least someone might see this info and need it. Sick and tired of Nigerians not helping one another out without seeing dollar signs in their eyes.

1. Get a good VPN. Connect to Lesotho on your PC. Make sure every time you log in, you use your VPN and make it Lesotho.
2. Go to this link, and sign up: PayPal dot com, forward slash signin?country.x=LS&locale.x=en_LS ... (Don't know the rules about links so... Use your hand correct am).
3. Sign up with your country as Lesotho, but input your Nigerian details. Make sure the phone number you use is handy, as you will need it if you run into sign in issues.
4. Link a UBA PrePaid Africard to your PayPal account. Note that there's the dollar prepaid, and the Naira prepaid. If you have a lot of business, specify the International High kind, for higher limits.

That's all. Found one dude on here trying to charge NGN10,000 just to say which card you can use to withdraw your money. Tueh!

If you've already paid for some PDF for info that's freely available online, I apologize. I found this out by Googling this matter but searching as though I'm Ghanaian, not Nigerian. Found a blog on how to set it up. You can refer to it.
