Fund management? I doubt you know what it means. I weep. Financial literacy is something to be taken very seriously.

Everybody and their grandmas now think they manage other peoples money. Zero antecedent, zero prospectus, zero credentials, zero regulation.

Thank God you haven't invested. I think you should edit your post cos someone asked for my advice because of your post and I told the person that I personally don't trust supposedly big forex companies.

You know some people's due diligence is just to follow whatever they see on Nairaland.

All I can do is to laugh. At least when the dust settles, we will return to reasonably reviewing and investing in companies. Hehehe.

As for anyone that loses money, take your L, move on, and never make this kind of mistake again. Investing is a marathon, not a sprint, and while it's best to learn from data, research and advice, learning from experience can be valuable too, because it makes the lesson visceral, not just vicarious or theoretical. Better to lose 250k now than lose 250 billion later.

I have been thinking about this and I suspect that laughing at the woes of people that bought into the map must have been insensitive and maybe disrespectful. Apart from listening to the advice of experienced investors, I personally acquired the discipline to avoid such "too good to be true" investments due to getting burned by the bull market of krippto currency in late 2017, so I shouldn't have laughed at others when they got burned too as that jest could distract them from the lesson and discipline that they could gain from the bitter experience. So here's my unreserved apology to the house. Make una no vex.

Thanks.

I have always wanted to invest with risevest but there fees are high and so unnecessary. Asides that the dollar rate is parallel market, it is not supposed to be, doesn't make sense. What if naira drops again tomorrow, you would have lost more than you should have gained.

Really? @high fees. I don't understand, because the fees are charged after you earn a certain percent. Or which fee in particular are you referring to?
And do you know any firm that offers the same services with less fees? If you do kindly share.

Even dome banks give you dollar at parallel market rate(UBA), is it a private company you want to sell dollar at CBN rate? Besides their fees are quite reasonable and you can see your money growing.
