Thank you sir, I want places near ring road, Jericho, oluyole or aleshinloye.

Those are very good areas, try to stick to those. If I hear of any available in the grapevine I’ll let you know.

What's the quantity of materials that you can import on aliexpress without having problems then?

When buying tiles, ensure you do the measurements accurately with your tiler and also ensure proper conversion from sqm to cartons and lastly if possible, after agreeing price with supplier, go with your tiler when going for pickup.

I just got swindled of 90+ cartons costing over ₦130,000.

Lesson learned.

I know all tribes in Nigeria have bad people, but we need to be wary.

When I bought cables, it's the same thing until I stood my ground.

When I bought conduit pipes, it's same thing. They sold fake 20mm at the price of original 20mm Dignity pipes. I stood my ground and returned all pipes

Now it's tiles from Orile.
This criminally minded Patrick Ebere knew what he did, smuggled all the tiles in the truck before my arrival to make U turn to the other side.
Swearing that ' ọgá the thing complete' 'maka why I go cheat you'

I said I'm coming to his shop, he said no that he has traveled to the East, whereas this bastard is right here in Lagos

[b]That is why you need to get professional to go or do it for you. Original dignity pipe in the market now is not less 7000 for 20mm pipe.

But some ibos will bring something similar that is difficult to bend when you get to site and waste alot of materials.

I have referenced the above post for us to get a better perspective of the current situation to resolve the issue and have some normalcy again.

The current imbroglio (saga) is that davodyguy insulted (painted) the Igbo Nation with one brush as criminals. I have gone through the sequence of events again and again but I cannot see where davodyguy DIRECTLY mentioned the Igbo Nation. If you think I missed it please point me in the right direction. He made mention of Igbo names, yes but he did not directly mention the word 'Igbos'. It is in fact topsy23 that said SOME ibos. This is the first related post that 'ibos' was mentioned.

However, davodyguy's post with the mention of Igbo related names can be rightly or wrongly construed as painting the Igbo Nation as criminals. In fact, that is the narrative now. From the fallout so far, it is obvious that even well-meaning members of this forum are of the view that the Igbo Nation was insulted directly or indirectly. It is in this respect that I think @davodyduy should stand up to clarify his message and put the record straight.

So davodyguy please oblige me and other well-meaning members of this thread by clarifying: Are all Igbos criminals? Your clarification has the huge potential of ending the imbroglio and defining your profile and image.

Now apology. Apology for what? Apology to who? You are an alleged victim of crime. Should you apologise to those who allegedly duped you? Should you apologise for trusting your suppliers? Should you apologise for pursuing the best offer available to you? I personally don't think it is good advice to apologise to the wanton display of infantile delinquencies that are now stocking this thread. I think if you do, you will kill this thread as you would set a precedent of ceding control to wanton emotional brigandage just like kidnapping.

It is for the same reasons that America and Israel don't do ransom payment. If you kidnapped an American citizen, there is only one outcome: they will come for you not with a fist full of dollars but with guns blazing and Chinook helicopters. I know you may not have a blazing gun, but you have one equally powerful weapon: continue to ignore the puerile attempt to hold this thread hostage.

Speaking personally for myself, the Igbo Nation is a great nation (I'm a Warri man) and very industrious. Using Spyder880 as a case study, we homeowners have benefitted profoundly from his trust, honesty and his experience in the building trade. If my memory is serving me right; Spyder880 is from the Igbo Nation. It is to well-meaning members like these that I think you should make a reconciliatory clarification. It is not beneath you to do so.

No quantity is prohibited but for bulk buying using alibaba is cheaper as AliExpress is mainly resellers . For easy import, using a Nigerian agent in China is best that is if ur not buying up to 20ft or 40ft . So they ship it as groupage .
The manufacturing company will call them and state ur quantity and they will in return give u a shipping quote for ur consideration.
Pls make sure u know how to scan alibaba to avoid buying inferior goods .

You're very correct on this.

Retail purchases suits AliExpress, but bulk is better done via Alibaba

Also, there are certain things that can't pass NIGERIAN Customs when importing via AliExpress.

Be sure to verify prohibited Items.

I'll share images of what I've purchased from AliExpress last week, that we're expecting latest 12th January, 2021.

They're mostly items for building

I suggest that this thread be closed because of tribal related violence. You guys are here still talking business and encouraging ethnic profiling. I am a northerner but we must be Frank with the truth at every level. I support all the people talking of an apology, the ghosts of ethnic profiling will continue to hover over this thread till a proper apology is given.

It's monthly.

In this December, for instance, you're limited to spending just $100.

You can choose to buy just 1 item at a cost of $100 or spread on multiple items

The secret cult story may be correct. The things people do to get money is frightening. A person in a secret cult can never go beyond their laws, if not the guy should have apologised since.

I tell you, if you see the way the guy has been trying to sweep the matter away, he must belong to a strong secret cult where they swore an oath to hurt people and never apologise about it no matter what. It might eve be a blood oath.

My brother, I am one of the people who thinks that this whole drama is getting out of control. I had called for caution from the warring parties yesterday because the damage this is causing to this thread is much.

I am still calling on everyone to sheath their swords. We should all continue to make positive contributions because, together, we can move this thread in the right direction.

Merry Christmas once again my people.

Oga Spyder880, yes this is getting unnecessarily out of hand and it shouldn't have.

I have read comments here people saying apologize to who? Who gives a hoot about an apology? Speaking for myself, I care less about that.

I don't believe any one was expecting the davodguy to roll on the floor and throw his hands up in the air asking for apology.

If you go back to how this started, the meaning of his posts could go both ways depending on individual reading it.

It makes one wonder , what his original intentions were? If someone think there message is being misunderstood, what stops them from chiming in and say, aye folks I don't know where this is heading but this weren't my intention, I was just trying to bring to everyone attention to be careful out there regardless of the tribe you are dealing with.

Some people might call this an apology, some might say it is a clarification of one's position. Either way, this would have ended long before it started and issuing a clarifying message is not unusual in this climate to make sure your message wasn't distorted or misunderstood.
