The Ogun State Government has banned crossover services to usher in the New Year in all worship centres across the state.

Nigerian Tribune monitored the announcement made on the state-owned radio station, Ogun State Broadcasting (OGBC), by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Waheed Odusile. This was sequel to a meeting government held with the Christian and Islamic clerics in adherence to the Covid-19 protocols.

The Ogun State Government thereby urged all worshipers to adhere to the stay-at-home order or make use of the social media platforms available.

Ogun State always towing the steps of Lagos state like mumu. No deep thinking or strategic reasonings in policies making.

And after the crossover service, it will business as usual everywhere. So has changed?

The NIN registration should be suspended instantly.

The centers are overcrowded and they are only few with slow network.

Please the Government should suspend it or do it in phases with several registration center in all poling unit or simply pull data from BVN and incorporate it to generate data.

COVID-19 protocol that the state Government gives no heck about in terms of crowded market place but would lash out on Churches? Nigeria is always acting all serious when it gets to witch-hunting. Well done Osun state govt.

Most of his cabinet members were ex Civil servants from Lagos State. Hence, they copied almost all policies from Lags State and in some cases, they copied it badly and implementing them wrongly
