IPOB: Anxiety As Soldiers Search For Eastern Security Network's Training Ground.



Report reaching us here has it that the @HgNigeriaarmy is currently searching for the location and training ground of the newly formed eastern security network. This much was disclosed by Biafra news worldwide on her Facebook page. According to the video posted on Facebook, the soldiers can be seen in what look like an armour personnel carriers(apc) moving round a sparsely populated area in the east. Also video of the airforce helicopter hovering over the region was seen, sending palpible fear into the minds of the indigenes.

This is not unconnected with the recently formed eastern security network by the leader of the proscribed group (Ipob),

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Recall that Nnamdi kanu, the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, had recently launched a security outfit called the eastern security network. According to the leader of the proscribed group Ipob, the security outfit is modelled after other security outfits in the West and in the North.



Ohanaze Ndigbo,the igbo socio-cultural group, has since distanced itself from the the newly formed eastern security network. The eastern governors have also withdrew their supports saying the security outfit lacks the backing of the law. However, the Yoruba socio-cultural group Afenifere, has since backed the newly formed eastern security network (ESN). According to Afenifere, the rate of insecurity in the old eastern region will reduce with the formation of the eastern security network.

Ipob through her spokeman, Emma Powerful recently warned those in the eastern region who had been contacted to sabotage the effort of the security outfit to steer clear. According to him, embarking on such mission is suicidal.

The South East is virtually the most torched region by the country's military. The North East, the most pampered. Round pegs are put in square holes. That's how the government ed rolls in my country.

The topography of the location doesn't look like anywhere in the East (looks more like one of the Northern states), and the person doing the video seems rather too uncomfortably close to the scene of advancing military men if he's truly "spying" on them...looks to me like a superimposed voice over a different video.

And even if the video is true, those brain dead soldiers surely would be easy pickings for the armed ESN guys, all they have to is simply go into the bush guerilla-style and let them come find you...since you know the terrain better, I'll be licking my chops if I were a ESN commander, easy dead meat as the Nigerian soldiers aren't known to be very good soldiers.
