Nigerians sha. You can tell those people who pay zero tax.

An administrator manages to build a train network between lagos and Ibadan after 5 years in power and you’re thanking him? For doing his job? For using your tax money?
they are better than those that use 16years in power with nothing to show for it but to embezzled the whole nation!

So, you can't thank your employees simply because they are doing their job?

Appreciation is a human practice, and it serves many purposes.

One major purpose of appreciation is that serves as a motivation.

When Obama was president, he was always thanking his secretary every time she handed him the plan for the day.

Of course, he can decide not to thank her. After all, she is getting paid for doing the job.

But appreciation motivates people to work harder. It makes them feel appreciated as human beings, and not mere machines or tools.

The police are paid from our taxes. Their job is to secure lives and properties.

It doesn't mean we should not be grateful if a team of policemen saves us from armed robbers or kidnappers.

And legally, tax money is not your money. It belongs to the government. The government uses it to generate wealth. Without the wealth, even you yourself will not be able to boast of having any income.

Recently, the completed Lagos-Ibadan railway was opened to the public for commercial operations. So many Nigerians from all parts of the country have been using the brand new train network to move from Lagos to Ibadan and vice versa.

In a show of gratitude to the Buhari administration for starting and completing the project, Nigerians on social media are giving testimonies and posting pictures of the excellent services they are enjoying on the train ride under the harshtag #BuhariTrain. Check some of their comments below.

I know I can't change this your mentality but i think you have personal problem with this government and that's alright because we all can't see from the same angle.
But how about you don't only criticize in the wake of bad news but also appreciate the few things they are doing right.
I'm not criticizing anyone. Rather you are the one having illusions

The bottom of your heart is obviously very dark, very corrosive, very sad, very negative, very backward and full of bad bele, doom and gloom.

I don't even get the insane and backward mentality that we should not progress, we should not develop or build trains because of terrorists?

The fact that you love terrorists so much and terrorists are in control of your life and you are paralyzed because all you think about is boko haram doesn't mean the rest of Nigeria should not progress and develop.

Terrorist don't control our lives, maybe yours and your dark and polluted mind.

I can’t wait to enjoy the smooth train ride from Lagos-Ibadan when next I’m in Lagos. Hopefully, the FG will fast track the construction of other proposed railway lines all over the country. I can’t wait to travel round Nigeria in train.

We indeed deserve our leaders!
A governor does flyover and some people think he has done what no human on earth has conceived while a president establishes a rail system from a state to another with taxpayers money and some folks believe that's the best achievement from him since sliced bread!
When are we going to grow above this endless mediocrity?
