It is almost a new year.

In the new year, one of my new year's resolutions is to be a good programmer.

I have bought Asus laptop and I have already started learning JavaScript.

Data subscription is not an issue.

Again, my new year's resolution is to be a good programmer.

Note: I am not in a rush as I am even ready to devote one to two years for this.

I am learning JavaScript and I would like to know if it's important to download a code editor. The site I am using to learn has a code editor, but do you think I need a separate code editor so that I can code things that I like which are different from the exercises given to me on the site where I am learning JavaScript?
