Ethiopia has class 2 electric SGR like yours - and it stall mid-way. Don't run before your crawl. Our SGR is electrifiable - once we are ready - you don't jump into electric train before you fix 24hrs of electricity - and it more than just generating more power - and it's making sure there is redudancy - and all the work.

We had two choices - build class 2 SGR electric like Ethiopia - or build class 1 SGR - we went for SGR class A that can haul more and is also electrifiable.

Once we electrify our SGR - ours will be FASTER and WILL HAUL MORE.

Yours is class 2 - has more corners - and the works - therefore even with electric is as slow as our SGR - and haul less weight.

As always - you went for FORM over SUBSTANCE

Yes you can electrify? But will you? Definitely not. You lack a reliable power. Tanzania has a very reliable electricity, thanks to our low level of corruption and our good no no sense approach
