seborrhic: It is not the Bureau the Change business that was not yielding profit. It was the managers that were not running the business sincerely. It is very common in Nigeria. Once they sense that you have money, they would device means to swindle you. I guess that was what he realised and decided to run his own by himself. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Where are those that always advise people to invest the millions they have in Nigeria whenever they decided to japa Nigeria isn’t an enabling environment for business, so many company have folded up. Some people will just wake up and come up with one useless business idea. The worst part is that they don’t always have capital but looking for someone who will invest in their rubbish business idea 6 Likes |

seborrhic: If you are in business with a friend and is not yielding anything , I guess you will end the business and move on ? That he decided to open similar business is not an offence ....what okocha is saying is that bad management is responsible for the folding of the one Mr Kujah is running for him ....but now he is making profit after devoting his time to run his business . 4 Likes 1 Share |

I won't rush to judge. Let's hear both sides. Business is bad but Okocha went ahead to open the same business line. I trust Okocha but let's hear from the other party. |

seborrhic:Sense you fit no get. He said the bureau de change business he was doing with Nwankwo Kujah was not yielding profit and not that Bureau de change business in general is not profitable. He is the one that brought seed money for that business, yet the fraudster Kujah went and registered the company in his own name, pilled up debts which Okocha still settled, and were still requesting for more capital, even after taking loans they could pay back. Okocha took his L, went and registered a new company and did his thing himself, then the fraudster is now somewhere saying Okocha's new company is owing him percentages. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

seborrhic: It's not about the business not yielding profit but people in charge were dishonest. Why wouldn't bureau de change yield profit? Change naira to dollar, euro or pound and cut your commission. Change dollar, euro or pound to naira and cut your commission again. It's like saying POS business not yielding profit 1 Like |

coldFLARES1: He registered the new company in his name doesn't mean he is the one running the business. Secondly, how long would it take him to learn the trade? He's now retired from active football, he's now free to handle his own businesses. 2 Likes 1 Share |

seborrhic: Your head dey there. Bureau de change wasn't profitable under Kujah and he still went on to start his own. Maybe, his name Jay Jay was the magic wand that could have rescued the business but Kujah failed to suggest it. |

This is why I said there's a culture in Nigeria sponsored by demons that unconsciously run people down financially, especially if you're based abroad or just returned back to the country. I met Okocha in Qatar. He's a good man. He worked hard for his money. He did the right thing from cutting off from someone who cannot make any good profit out of $300,000. A good man with good business acumen as his friend claimed, can raise a business empire with half of that money. Indeed he's wicked and callous! |

seborrhic: Bureau de changes, if we'll run make plenty of money. Okocha's partners possibly had other ideas or they did not know what they were doing. Seeing the potentials of the business and the failures of his friends Okocha's chose to move on and avoid further financial wastes. Do not forget the saying "experience is the best teacher". Okocha's 1billion was stuck in the defunct Society general bank and he openly asked Chief Obasanjo to help him retrieve it. He said it clearly that he could not afford to throw away his savings, especially as he was retiring from active football. Except there are other things we do not know, I think Okocha did the right thing by going his own way. 3 Likes 1 Share |

You better be careful so the man dont connive with the EFCC and Nigeria Georges to milk you cause you the one with the money and all they know out to do is to steal from the riches. Even when they see no case they will tell you you got case all in the name of wanting to collect money |
