My question is if JJ Okocha felt that the bureau D Change business was not yielding any revenue and was a drain pipe, why did he go and now register same bureau de change business, this time in his name?
Both sides are not telling us the whole truth.

Wilson oruma is no more the same Wilson oruma we know because of one business idea brought by some people who successfully swindled him. I still pity him till date

For several weeks, the Nigerian media has been flooded with allegation by Kujah saying that Jay Jay Okocha and his wife, Nkechi, illegally took over a Bureau de change business they jointly-owned with varying number of shares. Kujah, fondly called ‘Soccer Ambassador’ because of his close relationships with some players of 1994 set of Super Eagles, alleged that for 13 years, Okocha pushed him and other shareholders from the said business venture. Understanding seems hard for you.

People start bread business and are cashing out;you give someone money to start a bread business, and he's complaining no money, yet keeps asking for more.

You observe that money is not being accounted for... Rather than struggle to recoup your investment, you leave them and setup your own (100%) bread factory, because you are 100% sure it's lucrative... And with time, you are proved right, cos your bread factory is doing just fine, without the shady partners gobbling up all the profit.

Where did he state Bureau de Change business wasn't profitable?

Can you please tell me what's hard to understand there?

Reason or ask someone to reason for you, before you expose yourself publicly.

Thinking is so hard for many people. They do not understand managing a business by yourself and another managing it will almost always expose discrepancies.

Who still remembers Papillo Transport? They ran the same game on Kanu Nwankwor. As a football player, his name is out there that he has a lot of cash. Just like lottery winners, he will attract a lot of shady characters who want to steal from him.

He registered the new company in his name doesn't mean he is the one running the business.
Secondly, how long would it take him to learn the trade? He's now retired from active football, he's now free to handle his own businesses.
Ogbeni, you see, if this issue is not in the public space, I would not be airing my views.

He provided a seed capital of $300m for the take-off of the venture while those two others became shareholders by contributing just the idea. grin.

No disclosure as to the shareholding structure; yet for several years he kept sinking money into a nonproductive venture? Is he that daft? On top of that, he went ahead to open same business, probably employing others and overseeing it?

Just tell me what changed. I wish him luck.

How old are you? So you mean a business that his first contribution was $300,000 will still be a green business to him after few months? He believes he can manage it well on his own hence the reason he pull out.

People like talking poo and castigating every body as same

Mr.Johnson entered a transport business while still having a paid job, behave the car to okoro to drive and bring daily returns

But instead of returns he keep hearing the engine was bad this week, bring money to fix it, task force arrested me I didn't work for 3 days, the day he made returned it was never as planned cos he bought fuel at black market and so returns will be short.

Mr John was laid off and decides to use is pay off to buy a new car and start running it. With good daily returns. And in 8 months he has already bought another car

Okoro was stocked cos the car with him was damage and has been in mechanic for 3 months before he realizes Johnson is cashing in.
And he goes to tawn saying Johnson must come and pay the mechanics Johnson is wicked bla bla bla....

Although doing business involves some risks. Here are some tips to prevent people from falling into the wrong hands or bad luck
1. It is sound too good to be true, please run away from such business ideas. A guy promises you 100% return in your investment is likely a scam.
2. Never do business that you do not understand or you are not too sure. Knowledge is key, ignorance is deadly.
3. If you are not there in person seeing what is going on, then do not do the business. If you do not have the time, then do not do it.
4. Do not do business out of pity or under pressure from friends, family and so on.
5. Always check with local authority, government, and so on before u set a shop so you will not hear story that touch. Government want their own cut.
6. There is no family in business. Infact avoid doing business with friends and family because they do not pay or do not pay the full price.
