I regret asking for benevolence on this forum!!!!!!
Most of the people that responded made no sense!!!!!
Most of them asked no question!!!!!!
They just concluded that I was trying to scam them!!!!!!
But I won't allow this nonsense to be left unaddressed!!!!!!
I will report as many people as possible to the mods as I expect the mods to be more interrogative!!!!!!!

You live in Nigeria, so you must know why it is safer to assume that any online request for money is a scam. Heck, Nigeria has a global reputation for it. Sometimes, we see a tale of woe and feel moved to do something to help, but we remember that statistically speaking, the possibility of its being true is negligible to zero.

Don't take it personally. It's not you alone that people suspect. If anyone deserves to be punished, it's the online scammers who have made it difficult for anyone to help others.

There's a Twitter handle that others used to recommend for cases of police mishandling an issue. I don't remember it, bit maybe someone else can help with it. Or maybe you can find a human rights lawyer to intervene. Sorry, I don't know what else to suggest.
