The snake simply came to say happy new yearrrr to you grin

They bathe too, just like we human beings do and in that style. As they grow, they shed dead skin cells and that's what you saw. The snake could be kilometres away from your farm as we speak because they hardly stay around the place where the dead skin was shed.

OP you need to be very careful and prayerful...
I pray the snake has indeed migrated o.
But, the last snake that shredded it's skin around me, it still came back... thank God hubby was home. It was killed! Stay safe.

King Cobras are only found in Asia.

What we have in Nigeria are the forest cobra, Mali Cobra, Egyptian cobra and the blackneck spitting cobra.

The scales...it’s definitely a cobra but not a king, no king cobras in Africa not to talk of west Africa. It’s likely the forest cobra found predominantly in this part of Africa. Be careful though, a newly shedded snake is usually very temperamental because body go still Dey pepper am.

It is looking like a big Cobra shed that skin. OP better strategies how to hunt it down, if not your birds are finished.

I'll sugest you poison some eggs and place in the hole. Use a syringe to extract some sniper then use an injection needdle to inject it into two or three eggs and place where the snake will likely find it to swallow and that's it.

Don't forget to come and appreciate me for this. One or two chicken do me. I no greedy
