Why Africans Ex Football Stars Don't Coach Top Football Clubs In Europe by supercase1(op): 7:36pm On Jan 02, 2021
I have noticed this over the years,I can't remember seeing an African coaching a primier league serie A, la liga clubs despite the numerous talents Africa had produced e.g sammuel eto,Jay Jay okocha, drogba, essien, kanu etc.
Is there a reason for this or could it be the colour of our African skin?

ideally they should be coaching african clubs.

Nobody want to develop leagues for instance npfl all to want to coach in epl for where.

If there was a shortage of european coaches they will hire non- european coaches - no shortage
Just like there is shortage of skillfull footballers so they hire african footballers

U don't understand England france Germany are racist towards African coaches even if Messi was from Africa FIFA would have found a way to tame him.
Just take a look a eberechi eze he is very good with the ball he ought to be a striker at Crystal palace but they would never allow him play a striker position

Over there there's less Nepotism as is here...
Everything is based on performance

Eze u mentioned was once rejected from arsenal academy, but now a rising star in palace...

Obviously there's prejudice in football but not to the scale of what u imagine

I asked same question last year and some said they aint getting the coaching badges, others said African players should improve African leagues and coach here than seeking greener pastures abroad even if we all know its because of racism..
if African players have same level playing field with European professionals and they have same chances of securing top European clubs to coach, we would see more black coaches...
they simply stop going for coaching jobs because of those discrimination about their skin, BT people are saying its because they end up failing like rijkaard, seedorf, henry n viera forgeting the fact that the whites ex players turned caoches do fail too..
