The first sensible decision they'll be making in 5 years.... It's not about saying it sha ooo they should barricade the bridge because lagosians can be stubborn and be fast with whatsoever renovation they plan on doing.... 8 Likes |

I don't know if it's illiteracy that is our problem or it's just simply stubbornness. A bridge isn't in it's right shape, government barricaded it for our safety and some unscrupulous elements will go at night to remove the barricade, for what reason? On the second hand could it be that the government didn't provide an alternative means other than the bridge ? Who knows, both the Nigerian government and the Nigerian people are part of the problems Nigeria is facing. 15 Likes 1 Share |

Hmmm I have always asked why the FRSC don't inspect trailers and tankers which are responsible for the greater number of road traffic accidents in Nigeria and focus more on motorcycles and private cars. You will be traveling, pass a road safety check point and the next thing you see ahead is a petrol tanker leaking fuel still going on the road. This trailer also passed the same road safety check point without a check. Also, most of the heavy trucks are not road worthy (from petrol tankers, to sand lifters and log of wood carrying trucks) Why can't trailers be prevented from moving within cities during the day time? Nigeria is just lawless. 9 Likes 1 Share |
