The quest to get a job in Nigeria seems to be getting worse daily as every year, millions of people leave school for the labour market in search of jobs that they aren't sure of. Some get lucky and are employed while some others despite having high certificates, still find it difficult to get employed.
A young Nigerian man who also has joined in the job haunt cried out recently on what he's going through. He said he's a PhD holder in Microbial Pharmacology but lives on N200 daily which is certainly less than $1 just to survive.

If he does some hustle and get money, travel, his life will change after a year. He won't be jobless with those certificates.

If he has a PhD like he claimed he should move into the academic field. Apply for lecturing job in all these private polytechnics and universities, use the working experience there to build his CV, then apply in federal or State universities. Hopefully he'll get employed.

Acquiring degrees isn't bad. It's just that Nigeria has failed as a country that's why there's no difference between an educated and an uneducated person.

PhD will not bring money but labour will. If govt doesn't employ you, employ yourself. Philosophers are great thinkers. Think and grow rich. Forget PhD.
