Erica knows the truth. I think she's also using Kidd. Initially, she kept her dealings with Kidd private. She was scared of losing Kiddrica shippers, who wanted Kiddrica moments. This happened at a time she was worried about her followers growth. Hence, she chose to make shippers happy, to keep them. Besides, she wasn't ready for mockery from neighbors.
