Have you noticed that 55% of jobs advertised these days are not been truthful. These jobs are into networking business (Like GNLD), but will advertise with a different position, when you get there for interview they begin to tell you a different thing entirely.

This is highly deceptive. This kind of deception has caused a lot of damages in the lives of innocent applicants. What is wrong with being truthful about your job advert. In an organized Nation, this is a serious crime.

I think it's time we begin to exercise our rights in this country. When you are invited for an interview for a particular job advertised and you get there to find it's a different thing, you have every right sue that fraudulent organization for damages.

These companies are taking advantage of the unemployment in Nigeria to enrich themselves and treat our unemployed brethrens as slaves. This must stop!

I stand to be corrected on this, I will be glad to get contributions.

Like seriously. I was once a victim of such deception. Imagine GNLD advising on a reputable and popular newspaper (Punch Newspaper), disguised as a well established company. My trust for the newspaper made me thought whatever was advertised in it are genuine and standard, not knowing I was just been ignorance. I later got to conclude on the fact that, the newspaper are not to be blame, they are only doing their own buz, and as far as people could afford to pay for advertisement space, they would offer. Ever since then, I've learn 2 always carryout research about any company, anyone with no online presence, it's a no go area.

Nobody said it is by force but they should not be lying about jobs that don't exist only for someone to reach the venue for the interview and someone will be hyping you up with Robert Kiyosaki. And that you should pay money for a either a pyramid scheme, registration, an international company identification number and some products that you will be struggling to sell.

If you ask me, this is another form of slavery. They take advantage of the unemployed and nobody is saying anything. This is the only nation we have and we must speak out when things are not going right.

If one can't sue, then they should be reported.

Yes. The writer is very right but we are powerless to sue them. Not only GNLD are deceiving people some genuine companies does too.

Imagine a reputable security company in Lagos invited us for an interview for an operation officer role on getting there they told us we are below 30 years that only 30 years and above candidate they need after we had waited for 6hours and they don't stipulate the age bracket they needed in the vacancy advert. Imagine they only told us they are sorry. ( morris royal security Ltd ).

There are many companies like that in our society but our labour leaders are just busying fight for minimum wages without having us in mind. Nigeria is not meant for common man children I must to say the truth.

However, I hereby call on any body that have power to deliver us from this Long time bondages before it totally get out of control. Nigerian graduate are surfering in the hands of employers of labor.
