How Come I've Observed This Only In Nigeria? by The5DME(op): 11:41am On Jan 11, 2021
How come I only hear Nigeria students rant about "school being a scam". I'm active on a lot of foreign forums and I've never heard anything like that before from their students. Sure, they do complain about their 'financial system's , but never about school being a 'scam'.

No job. People graduated over 10 years with no job. Graduates are riding okada and keke, doing agbero, it is frustrating but I do not agree it is a scam.

I was discussing with my auto mechanic a few days back, he's a graduate, he doesn't even know where his results are any more.

School is not a scam though, even if there are no jobs, education brings enlightenment, refinement, the ability to stand out and not behave crudely.

and als6 the govt is gambling with the future of its students. how can a reasonable govt close sch for a whole year. 2020 is gone, now 2021 they are planning to shut down schools again. are we being educated or we are being fooled.

you probably aren't active enough..... The narrative that school is a scam is one of the most constantly echoed narrative in the world Nigeria is not left alone on it.

Although depending on how you see it. It might be true, it might not.... Different strokes for different folks

MEMORY VERSE:
The most reasonable and sensible person AWARD should go to that your AUTO MECHANIC who graduated and decided to dump his papers somewhere & not lamenting about Naija.
All he needs to do is to develop a complementary card and digitalise himself.
He will never be POOR.

Education in Nigeria isn't the same in other countries. The system isn't meant to solve problems rather creates more problems. It's ironic the more educated folks suffers more from the system so it's true if you hear that education in Nigeria is a scam
