I am very sure it's a mutual thing. They use each other.

I don't think it's because she loves him.

When she had an issue with him in the house, she told Tbaj that she wished there were other guys she could switch to. That's a red flag for me. It was all about her game - using a guy for contents.

A truly heartbroken lady would not think of other guys, when a guy she loved just broke her heart few minutes before. It only meant Erica needed another guy that would help her game/narrative on the show.

She continues to use him, after the show, to keep her fans entertained and sell a "true love" narrative to prove those slutshamming her wrong.

I've never seen how somebody says so much jargons with such confidence.

Once a series keep running and not yet retired, characters can be brought back from previous seasons even when they are supposed to be dead!

Milo's character was brought back in season 5 in "24" despite only featuring briefly in season 1, same for Tony Almeilda who supposedly died in season 5 only to be reintroduced in season 9.

As long as Flatmates keep running, Erica is still considered part of the cast.
