Nonesense! Mine was generated through my BVN and I was able to log into the Mobile App and even printed my digital id card.

At first, the NIMC denied that fact that there was any sort of harmonisation. They even issued a public statement that they didn't do any Harmonisation of their National Identity database with any other type of database whatsoever..
Now, they came back to issue another Public Notice.

They obviously don’t know what they are doing.

I have never done NIMC registration.

My NIN is 100% BVN generated...

I am able to access the mobile id app.

Even the passport photograph on the digital id is from my bvn records.

They have no idea what they r doing.

but if the NIN is seen as a major country data source it should contain something as essential as the date of birth so as to have accurate age demographics, don't u think so?
