A man who has type AB blood could not father a child with type O blood, because he would pass on either the A or the B allele to all of his offsprings.

If your child's blood group is O while you the 'father' is AB, you are not really the biological father.

You need to bring in the mother's blood type to solve your question.

If the Mother's blood type is B, and the father's blood type is O, then their child must be either B or O.
