I am a landlord. I even gave power from my generator to one of my tenants that seldom pays on time. They are good but just challenged at the moment . They pay anytime the rent is available .Why won’t I let them have peace

Begging when u paid for a full year and given quit notice without a refund is a sign of being Gullible. Disconnection of the power supply is enough for someone like me to deal with them. When u are too calm, people take u for granted.
For the woman's husband not to injure the Landlord and his wife despite seeing his wife bleed is a rare attribute of a Man.
I can't watch anyone inflict pain on my child or my wife for any reason.

They give them quick notice just two months of paying rent and moving into the apartment and you ask for your refund and they refuse, when they should have taken action to restrain the landlord.
Landlord disconnect your electricity when you've not owe a dimn and you make use of generator: a typical nigerian.
Cut them off water grid and you use bowl to fetch water: well you keep on inviting the trouble.
Finally, they physically attack/abuse your wife and you now stand up to fight back: too late because the scar will remind you.
Better late than never. Good that you realize your mistake before it leads to lost of life.

Well, not to say I am not being empathetic,... but it's actually weird for a landlord to throw you out without rent expiration or refund.. to the extent of cutting light and water when your rent is still running and inflicting bodily harm on an active/paying tenant..

You call it my folly? Someone's wife, someone's mother had her face slashed by a Landlord after being cheated. Is that not the height of lawlessness and wickedness. This lawlessness is something they must have been doing for years and getting away with. Now should be the time for their waterloo. Yeah I made reference to the city just like I will lay reference to Kano or Osogbo if need be. You that can see only the tribalism in it for all I care. If you were related to the tenant, you would not call my opinion folly.

When we say the police is useless people ask us why we are talking like this. Let us imagine that the victim had been the I.Gs own daughter or sister or mother, do u think the case will be treated by the police with the same kind of levity? Do u think the culprits will be let off the hook so easily? No, i don't think so. Oh wait, we only have to imagine this because it can never happen in reality as no landlord will be stupid enough to try this with the I.Gs family member as that will be the end for that person. I really dont blame people who often take the law into their hands to get their justice because the police are themselves worse than the criminals they are meant to prosecute.
