Are you a student, entrepreneur, or even a worker but looking for way to make money from the comfort of your bedroom? I have some great ideas for you Invest in yourself. This looks so simple and common sense but most people don’t do it. The most important investment you can ever make is the investment in yourself. This is the only investment that can truly guarantee you 1000% returns. Why’s that? The better you become, the more money you can make. Every other can be stolen from you but the investment in self cannot be taken away. Most people don’t know that more money follows competence, courage and consistency. The better you become, the more money you can make. Learn a high income skill There is a difference between a high income job (like shell), a high income profession (like Medicine) and a high income skill (like copywriting) The first two requires longer time, training and resources. The last one can be learnt in months and the rewards are equal. Believe it or not, there are programmers (high income skill) who earn a lot more than lawyers (high income profession) My advice number is, learn a high income skill that can help you fetch more money. Invest in courses and trainings. You can take my copywriting class where I teach copywriting and how to apply it for 5 days.. The link to join is at the end of the article Create daily streams of income. Daily streams of income are businesses that bring in cash on a daily basis. Even if it is 1k a day, it is better than nothing or waiting at the end of the month. The most common daily streams of income are selling digital products in the form of eBooks, courses and videos or training people online. I have 3 daily streams of income. I sell digital products, I do digital trainings and I set up upwork accounts. Invest in creating a digital product or reselling one that works. For example, I paid N30,000 to learn how to approve upwork accounts and in 3 months I made more than N300,000 from that one stream alone. (The good news is, I could teach you for N10k if you interested) Start a supplementary business Supplementary businesses are businesses you start by leveraging an already existing business or traffic. For example and this is very basic, if someone is selling akara, partner with them so that they can sell bread on your behalf. That’s just the idea. Look for where the traffic is and leverage on it. It is a model I’ve used over and over to reap passive streams of income. This will be where I'll stop if you need more clarifications on anything said above, you can contact me up on Whatsapp https:///2347089780681?text=Hello%20MrFabulous |

Good day sir. I'm actually in a difficult situation and I thought I could use an elder's advice. I actually want to become a scientist and a software engineer at the same time. So, I'm thinking of studying chemistry while also self learning how to code. But the issue is that I know I probably might not get a job with that chemistry because science things are not really popular around here but I'll be relying on my software engineering knowledge to pay the bills because they are tons of job for software engineers(note I said software engineer not programmer, I believe there is a difference). I'm this kind of person that has a lot of interest in different things. I find it hard to major in just one l, hence my dilemma. If I had the funds,I would've just gone for a degree in computer science and chemistry. But as it seems,I have to choose one to major in,while the other one I know I can learn well on my own. You know I can learn how to mix chemicals on my own and transitioning from chemistry to software engineering won't be that hard as the vice versa, hence my decision for doing chemistry first. Ok, the issues I'm worried about and have been thinking of are: 1) how 'important' is the need for a computer related degree when applying for software engineering jobs? I know it's probably not required for entry level jobs but as I go higher,it might be required right? 2)I know I'll have to learn on my own what computer science students learn in 4 years in a short amount of time in order to progress right? 3) How will you suggest I go about fulfilling my ambition of wanting to be a software engineer and a scientist here in Nigeria? Please advice me sir cixak95211,you're the only one on this platform with the breadth of wisdom to advise me. Cc: cixak95211 |

@The5DME Many thanks for the honorary title conferred on me, alas, I am "not the only one here with the breadth of wisdom to advise you". Many will tell you otherwise so take my advise with a pinch of salt. Yes there is a diff. Programmers focus only on code, SWEs focus on design and engineering from client to business needs. All SWEs are programmers but not all programmers are SWEs. If you have the means, pls get a C/S degree, coming from someone who also majored in Biochemistry before my transition into Maths and C/S , I think have enough knowledge in that area to advise you. Some will advise you otherwise that you can learn DSA on your own. Yes true, but you will struggle, practically. Yes, if you practice for 8hrs per day for a couple of years, you'll be a guru. But that's just for DSA. How about other parts of computing? If you have 2 years to spare, why not add an extra 2 and get the whole cow instead of just the milk? If they want to to prove you wrong, just tell them to "pass" even the Upwork coding certification or any proctored whiteboard interview and tell you their experience. You can be as many things as you want, engineer, scientist, doctor, but you should try to excel in one by a long shot. Jack of all trades, master of . . you know the rest. Cheers. My DM is open for more conversation, hoping the bot spares this post. |
